Bugsy Junior says "Thanks For Saving My Life"
Bugsy was acting strange not wanting to brushed and would nip at anyone that tried to rug his hind quarter of his left side. It looked almost like he had an impacted bowel. I was not here at the time all this was going on and my Mother and Brother were telling me how bad it looked thinking maybe he would have to be put down. It hurt to think I might lose my baby, who has been with me thru times of trouble, sorrow and depression, he has always been there to comfort me as if he knew I needed him just to cuddle with me and be there with his big golden eyes, saying "it's okay, Moma" "I am here for you". I was so glad I had the foresite to want to be there for him when he needed me, and without the ASPCA pet insurance, I couldn't have done just what needed to be done for my baby, I am thankful for the insurance and the help it afforded me to be there for him, now he is home and back to his finnicky eating, which I cater to and there every night on his little place on my bed, purring and wanting to be groomed again. We insure our houses, our cars, our lives, why not take care of our pets, they are an important part of my family. Thank you

We love Pets Best!
My husband and I have been adopting older pets for many years. In April of 2007, we lost our beautiful St. Bernard, Georgie Porgie to torsion. The cost for 4 days of ICU was $10,000 cash. If we couldn't pay up front, Georgie did not get treated. (See Georgie's story and pictures at Adopt A Saint of California. Look under Successes, 2005-2006. He is number 214. He had so many homes that our adoption did not even make it on to the website.)
After the financial disaster of Georgie's death, we reviewed several pet insurance companies and chose Pets Best. We currently have 3 cats and two giant breed dogs covered by Pet's Best Insurance and couldn't be more pleased.
In August of 2007 we adopted Bubba, another wonderful St. Bernard. In December of 2007 Bubba was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Our insurance with Pet's Best allowed us to treat the Lymphoma and keep his quality of life good for almost a year. Without the insurance we could not have afforded to treat him.
Now our female Rottweiler is 11 years old. She has several chronic old age problems. Pet's Best has made it possible to provide her good care and keep her comfortable. They have paid the contract amount on all claims and have handled all inquiries with friendly and helpful customer service.
I recommend Pet's Best Insurance very, very highly!

Bichon
Purchasing my pet insurance through ASPCA was a god send. After a year of purchasing the insurance my beloved Bichon Frise, Toby, was diagnosed with cancer. I am truly blessed for without the insurance I don't know that I would have been able to have this unexpected expense due to his illness. Today, Toby I well.

Very efficient & claim processed within a week.
While on holidays, our dog sustained an injury that required hospitalization after midnight. While in hospital, x-rays, bloodwork and an ultrasound was performed and our dog was released after 18 hours. Within the next 3 days the medical report was completed and forwarded to our vet-pet insurance. The claim was substantial and required another level of review and within 5 days the claim was processed. Throughout the entire process there was excellent communication with Trupanion and we were most satisfied with the result. Over the years,Trupanion has provided excellent service, communication, and claim repayment, and we are thankful we chose this company to have our pet insured under. We would use them again for any future pets we own also.

dont waste your time and money
I bought this policy after reading some of the comments here. Got the coverage and thought it was great when they paid my dog's wellness claim.
But then a week before his 'waiting' period was up my dog jumped off the deck (20" high). He didnt seem injured at first but the next day he didnt jump up on the bed or on his stool. I took him for x-rays and although they showed no signs of any injury other than a sprain his claim was denied. Apparently you have to have the vet fill out a report card and I didnt do that until he was having x-rays. Since I submitted the report card with my claim, his injury was deemed pre-existing. Not only this claim but now he also cannot have any other claims for similar injuries.
So I canceled this insurance and have purchased another company who realize that my pet isnt perfect and that I may have to actually make a claim.

First claim was painless
When I came home to find our dog holding one eye closed, I immediately took him to the emergency vet. The last thing on my mind was filing a claim. Four days later, after more vet visits and minor surgery to correct the issue, it occurred to me that we had insured him for just these times. I was pleasantly surprised at how effortless it was to file a claim and how promptly we received our money. I would strongly recommend your company to other pet owners.

helps with my cats' bills
I chose ASPCA pet insurance for my cats because of the ASPCA link. So far I have been happy with their services. I do wish they paid for lab work along with treatment but that is just one thing. I got insurance for my cats in case of cancer or something similar where we would really need help paying the bills. i hope we never have to use our extended coverage.
