No Surprises!
Our three dogs have been insured with Embrace since November 2008. We had several pre-existing conditions which we fully disclosed. We have filed several claims, both for illness and under the wellness option. Embrace handled our claims exactly as advertised in a transparent and timely manner and in accordance with the policy. Embrace also responds promptly to my emails. As with any insurance policy, I suggest reading the policy completely in order to fully understand what is covered and what is not. We've recommended Embrace to a number of people.

Only surprise was needing to use it so soon!
Three weeks after getting Healthy Paws coverage for my youngest dog Andee, he became very ill. Andee has never had a serious health issue, so we were very surprised by his symptoms. After rushing to the ER and a number of tests later, Andee was diagnosed with lymphoma. I would never have thought my youngest, healthiest dog would be the first to go. I was in such a state of shock the Healthy Paws staff kindly took care of contacting the ER and handling the paperwork. I didn't have to do a thing. Then I received a very thoughtful email from the company along with my coverage statement. Shortly after that I received a check for the ER visit reimbursement. Healthy Paws paid exactly what I expected based on my deductible and coinsurance. No surprises. (I had other pet insurance in the past and was ALWAYS surprised.) The only surprise here was needing to use the coverage so soon!

Well Worth The Cost
Two years ago, my uninsured cat sustained some internal injuries while playing outside and the resulting operation cost me $5000. Soon after, I got Trupanion insurance and once again the unexpected happened and my cat started urinating blood for a sustained period of time. The resulting vet costs, so far $600, have been nearly completely covered thanks to my insurance. My cat is able to have access to the best medical care available without me stressing during this difficult economic time. There is no limit on the cost of an individual claim, something few other insurance companies can match. Also, I pay very little as I have no deductible and only a 10% coinsurance all at $22/month. Trupanion is by far the best pet insurance company out there and I highly recommend them. Their staff is friendly and clearly devoted towards pets and their process time is less than 1 week. Given the skyrocketing costs of healthcare, this is a no-brainer.

I am satisfied with the settlement of our clains.
We have six family members (two dogs & four cats) insured with Embrace plus I've encouraged my mother to insure her new puppy with them. We have experienced some major illinesses with some of ours and have been able to weather the financial side because of having this insurance (i.e. a MRI ($1900) which was paid promptly and without question). The neurologist was very interested because he has been asked about various companies and he was not familiar with Embrace; now he is.

Pet insurance is a must.
California is an expensive place to own a pet. When you do rescue as I do, vet costs can become prohibitive. I currently have 2 dogs and 6 cats. ASPCA and Petshealth has been a life-saver, allowing me to care for multiple pets and not sacrificing care of one pet for another because of costs.

Hassle-free
We insured our cat in the last two years with Pets Best Insurance. About 3 weeks ago, Daphne needed to be seen by a vet for the very first time. Poor Daphne got severe constipation. The first visit soon followed by many visits after. I thought the claim process would be a hassle... I was wrong. Easy, fast and friendly service from Pets Best put a smile on my face. Daphne is getting better now. Thank you, Pets Best ! I will tell all my friends, family and customers about your excellent service.

great communication and service
Having filed my first claim to Embrace I was a bit nervous about the process and what the out come might be. Again from the start, they made the process easy and where very helpful when I had a question. Answering me via email and letting me know that the claim was received and being reviewed by an adjuster and how long it would take. Then an email came and said a check was in the mail. I bought a plan from a company, that did what it said it would do.I have spread the good word about Embrace before any claim was filed and now I have the proof to continue to spread nothing but praise about Embrace.

Friendly, caring & helpful people at ASPCA.
I adopted my Luke,a Dachshund mix from the local animal shelter. Luke at the time, was about three or four years old. I wanted to give an older dog a second chance at having a forever home with people who could give him the love and care he deserved. One of the first things I did was to get pet insurance from ASPCA. Several weeks later I noticed a small lump on Luke's front left leg. I brought Luke to the Doctor and it turned out to be a non-cancerous tumor. Luke eventually had to have surgery to have it removed. Thank God he made a full recovery!
I was surprised at how much I get reimbursed for the surgery. I highly recommand ASPCA insurance. Besides getting some reimbursement for visits to the Doctor, everyone I have ever spoken to at ASPCA is friendly, caring and helpful.

Peace of Mind health coverage for Pet is Priceless
I have a 3.5 yr old Yorkie, Bailey. When he was 2 he was having bladder problem and was catherized a few time and put on medication. When it got worst he was referred to a Specialist Vet Clinic in Greenville SC. To make a long story short, Bailey had a Liver Shunt and was operated on. Thought I was going to lost him, but he is doing fine now. Except for some skin allergies he seems fine. I submitted all the invoices I had aquired from my home Vet and the one in South Carolina and submitted to ASPCA. Since I was well aware that the issue my dog had was not covered but they went through it and covered all the tests and x-rays before he was diagnosed. He had swallowed some items when he was in pain and started chewing my shoes and anything he could get ahold of. I spent over $4500 on the first claim but it was worth every penny. The second claim was for Ear infection and skin allergy and ran around $400.
They were a pleasure to deal with and make sure I understand their decisions according to my policy.
