I haven't needed to use Trupanion's services as of yet for any of my three pets (two dogs and one cat), but having the service there lets me be less concerned about what could be and lets me concentrate more on having a wonderful time with my buddies. It is good to know that I will have the help should anything happen to any of them.

At one time my wife and I had two guys insured with Petshealth Care Plan Insurance. We lost Thomas about two years ago, but Oliver is still insured. Ollie doesn't seem to have the problems that Tom did, but as a soon-to-be nine-year-old standard poodle, he has his share of maladies, the current one being an extremely sensitive stomach. As an insurance agent (property and casualty), I appreciate good claims service. While we purchased pet insurance primarily as catastrophe coverage (Tom needed $4,500 worth of surgery once), we have availed ourselves of the coverage offered by Ollie's plan. We're not always in the black, which is okay, but we always receive claims payments in a timely manner, adjusted fairly and accurately. This year, Ollie's claims have more than offset the premiums we have paid. If you care about your pets, as we do, having pet insurance is a surefire way of making sure you can always afford to do the right thing.

My one year old terrier was ill with diarrhea. She was diagnosed with coccidia. Since she was within days of her annual vaccinations, the vet opted to give her her shots that day. The claim was submitted and I received a check for $0.05. My appeal was submitted with documentation from the vet stating her care plan. The appeal was rejected. I saved money by not having 2 office visits. I will find another company that does not put me in the position of jeopardizing my pet's health.

I highly recommend Trupanion to everyone I know. I have yet to file a claim on my 8 month old boxer. I did have an issue that could not be dealt with via the website. I dropped them an email and before I new it a service emailed back that everything was taken care of. Could not have been any easier. ref:00D8K

What can I say? Since becoming a cat owner by accident, falling in love with my cat only to have to put him down 2 years later was a heartbreak. It was on that sad day that my vet said "get insurance, get this insurance" and I made the call when I got my next cat, and my next cat. Since then I have been so impressed with the service quality and turn around times to claims. I have recommended your company to everyone I know who has a pet and I know I would never be without it again. I am an AHT in a veterinary referral practice and I can't recommend insurance enough! I get lots of great feedback from owners with Trupanion who are so happy they are able to do everything they can for their pets. I myself have two cats with Trupanion and recently had to make a claim for my 4 year old who was diagnosed with renal insufficiency. This is an on-going disease and he is quite young to already have medical issues. Let me tell you; even though I am working in the industry, it is SO nice to know I can provide my pets with all the best care they require without having to worry about costs. I truly can't recommend Trupanion enough!!!
