I did the right thing to get this insurance.

I recently had to bring my cat to a vet, and it turned out he needed a stomach surgery. The total bill was about $2,000. My PetHealth insurance covered more than half of it - exactly as per my contract. I have to say this company absolutely has met my expectations in this claim, I didn't have problems, and they keep the monthly premiums low.

Great People!

We hadn't been insured with Embrace but for a couple of Months when my little buddy (Buster) hurt his right elbow. I was contacted before this by Embrace, asking why I did not have the orthopedic waiver done. We barely had enough money to buy the policy, let alone take him in for an exam. Well, a week later, he came down with a stinkin ear infection. My vet did the ortho exam at the same time for no charge. Of course his elbow injury was going to be excluded for a period, but I cannot remember how long. That was understandable, though now I had wished we had done it to begin with. About two weeks later, Buster woke me at 3am and just looked at me. A few minutes later he was in a full blown seizure. We rushed him to a local emergency vets office. At 8am, my buddy passed away. He was not even three yet. I was devistated. The only thing the doctors could figure was that he had an aneurism or some other issue in the brain. All of the other tests we did were negative. I waited a few weeks before finally submitting all of the paperwork, for the ear and seizure. I had an approval in less than 24 hours and a check in hand within a week. When they found out about Busters passing, they had refunded the balance of my premium within a couple of days, without a word. I made sure I had ALL of the required documentation prior to faxing it in, so i am sure that had something to do with their quick response. This is my experience and I will definately use them again. I appreciated the

Rip Off Plan!

I have had this plan for my Rottweiler for 6 years, since I registered her with AKC at a few months old. She was diagnosed with wearing ACL in her right knee last year. A few months later she tore the ACL in her left knee. After consulting with an orthopedic surgeon, he told me it would be better to repair both knees at the same time as it would save the dog from having to go through the anestesia another time, the healing process would be done at once, and an added perk was it would cost less. I called the PetPartners insurance and asked them if there was any problem having both knees operated on in the same day. Their response was -- yes, that's fine each knee is counted as a separate incident. After the surgery was done, I submitted my bill and PetPartners denied the bill on one knee saying two knees is counted as a chronic condition. I challenged their decision but they still denied payment on the second knee. This company lies and can't be trusted. Find a reputable company!!

A company well named!!

Our Bedlington Terrier has had two neurological-hyperthemic attacks with limb extension rigidity which cost me about $2000. Trupanion have been wonderful and have lived well up to their name for which I thank, and recommend, them so much!!

Great Service

My cat, Tony, was acting differently and not interested in playing. Within 2 days he was crying and had lost his appetite. The vet we found he was constipated. He was so backed up they had to put him under anesthesia and physically remove the blockage. I knew it was going to be expensive but with my pet insurance 80% of the cost was covered. Now Tony is feeling great and we owe it to ASPCA Pet Health Insurance!

Pets Best stands alone in pet insurance.

My dog Charlie, recently suffered a severe, costly battle with adrenal cancer. Pets Best could not have been more pleasant to deal with, and handily the claim promptly. I would recommend Pets Best to any pet owner seeking insurance.

Pet Insurance is a LifeSaver!

I have many dogs and all of them are insured by Pets Best. I've had other insurance in the past and find Pets Best to be far superior. They have a quick turn around, fantastic customer service and are very fair with their coverage. Everyone should have insurance for their pets and I recommend Pets Best!

Total ripoff

Petshealth bills your credit card biannually (every 6 months). My dog was insured continuously by them for over 10 years. He had surgery in late Sept 2009 for a mass on his chest. The insurance company refused to pay on this claim because there was a 90 day period where they would not pay for a pre-existing condition. That meanst you could only have surgery during the final 3 months of each 6 month period without the condition being "pre-existing." In short, you are paying for 12 months to get 6 months of coverage--a total ripoff! On the positive side, they paid pretty well when we had an emergency that required a trip to an animal ER. I would not recommend this company becuase of their "pre-existing" policy. It is unethical, but they argued that they were not covered under health insurance laws in my state because dogs are "just propert."

Extremely Satisfied

Very happy with the coverage. Even with a cat with pre-existing conditions, the claim was processed quickly and fairly. Have heard bad things about other insurances and am happy to have chosen Embrace. Just my one claim made the policy worth while.
