Highly Recommend!
I was skeptical about purchasing pet insurance as I thought any kind of claim would be a long drawn out argument over coverage. Well, I am so happy I bought it. We lost a lab in the ER and had a $1000 bill. When we bought our new lab puppy I did not want to go through this again. I researched and found that Pets Best looked like a good option for us. Thank God I did. Our 5 month old lab puppy got sick and was throwing up. The vet said they believed she swallowed something and needed to do exploratory surgery. This had a $1400 price tag. I really had no choice. It turns out that my dog had not swallowed anything but was having issues with her food. I submitted the claim immediately and called to discuss the issue with pets best. They were always very kind and understanding when talking to me. I fealt like I was talking to a family member. I asked them if they could expedite the claim as quick as possible because I really needed that money back. After asking this by email the claim was processed by the next business day. I have never in my life dealt with any kind of company that was truely genuine and cared. I got almost all my money back too!!! This company is awesome! I will continue to keep my $20 a month plan for emergencies. It has been the best investment I have ever made! The only thing I wish is that more vets would do direct billing. It is difficult for a lot of people to front the money. Overall, I am very happy with them. I would highly recommend them!

Honest, Accessible, Friendly
I've submitted two claims in the three years I've had Embrace animal insurance and both times I've received speedy assessments and rapid reimbursement. The monthly premiums are not cheap, but the service is excellent. I have selected coverage for what can often prove to be expensive, elaborate treatments for potentially chronic illness (planning for the future that I hope doesn't come), and I have confidence that Embrace will uphold its portion of our agreement.

Embrace Pet Insurance
First claim on our policy, impressed with the quick processing, great communication and very fast payment. We are very impressed with Embrace! They are really customer service oriented!
We had another pet insurance for several years and when their premium made HUGE increases (pet age 3 yrs) we did a lot of research to locate a new insurance company. Embrace had the best reviews and flexible plan choices.

Absolutely the best value best service
I have had several Pet insurance policies, but they were not "universal". Pets best is fabulous. It will cover my animals not only in Colorado where I live, but elsewhere. The value is positively fabulous. I have had 3 claims this month, and PetsBest has paid them quickly with no hassle. They are professional, caring, and a delight to work with. They are underwritten by Aetna, which is my insurance carrier! What can be bad! I strongly recommend PetsBest for your pets health needs.

Stubborn claims department
After a year as a Trupanion customer I have decided to drop the service. The claims department is extremely stubborn and you have to full out forms numerous times to get through the red tape. Honestly the time I spend going to and from the vet for signatures, filling out paperwork, and on the phone is not worth the money.

new customer likes efficient service
I enrolled three pets in Enbrace Pet Insurance with optional coverage for routine visits, last month. This month I took all three pets to the vet 2 weeks ago, submitted the information last week and Embrace is issuing a check as of today. Communication seems quick and service is efficient. So, as a new client: so far, so good!

An excellent investment in your pet.
I wish I had acted on my instinct to get pet insurance when we rescued Calvin in April 2009. He was a goofy love everthing black lab mix who had been found roaming the desert of Eastern Washington . His dehyration had caused kidney damage so when I adopted him I knew he would need some TLC. He recovered very well with treatment. Then then end of October one evening he was acting off and obviously in distress. Off to the emergency vet we went. Surgery was required to discover he had had a duodenal ulcer that had perforated. He spent 2 more days trying to recover but he couldn't fight the infection and we had to let him go. Ofcourse you would do anything to save your pet, but having pet insurance would have helped with the $6000 bill.
In January 2010 we adopted Dexter, another goofy black lab mix. He's a healthy young dog with a propensity to eat everything that isn't nailed down. Shortly after bringing Dexter home I enrolled he and our older dog Gracie in the ASPCA pet insurance. Within a couple months Dexter got up on the kitchen counter and nabbed by kitchen sponge. A trip to the vet to upchuck that was my first claim. A couple months later, another sponge incident and another claim. Then a couple weeks ago while camping in Montana he ate 'something' he found in the campground. That was a little more involved and could have ended up in surgery but he managed to pass the offender. My insurance on Dexter has more than paid for itself already and I urge

Best Best = Worst Ever
80% of my claims were, according to Pet's Best, was a pre existing condition. If you get a routine procedure done they are OK, but anything that is major or a continuing situation, don't count on then to pay! When I went to cancel them they told me that I would get a small charge because it was the middle of the month. No problem until we saw our automatic deductions, $53.44 taken out of our account

First Time User for ASPCA Insurance
I just signed up with ASPCA pet insurance, it was recommended by my friend in Cleveland, OH. I am in New York, and just submitted my first claim. I will keep you posted on how that turned out. I had researched VPI as well...so, we will see if I made the correct decision with ASPCA.

Why can't human health insurance be this easy?
I wish they had embrace for people! Seriously, Embrace is the best. Once I met my deductible the reimbursements for covered expenses happen within 2 weeks of submitting a claim, every time. I know of NO other pet insurance that covers genetic conditions... being a purebred Lab owner that means hip issues could crop up in the future. No problems yet, but it feels good to be covered. Best 20 bucks a month I could spend.
