Pets Best Is A Life Saver, Part 2
I posted a review about Pets Best on 9-9-10, but all of it wasn't listed. Part 2 - I began to see the importance of having insurance after Hannah became ill in December 2009 and was diagnosed with Immune Anemia/Thrombocytopenia. I was not prepared for the severity that this illness could cause. Since December I have filed 23 claims for Hannah's illness and Pets Best has paid 80% every single time. In my eyes they have extended Hannah's life. I would have had to euthanize her because I wouldn't have been able to afford her medical payments on my own. Through all of this Hannah has not given up. She still wakes up every morning and is ready to eat, she likes to bark for a treat, ride in the car, play Hunt & Find, and watch her Nana cook in the kitchen. So I want to make sure I give her the best care possible. Thanks Pets Best for saving the life of a very special friend. This is what having insurance is all about.

Always Easy to deal with
I've had Embrace Pet Insurance for my dog Baxter since we got him a year and half ago. They have always been prompt and accurate in dealing with the claims I've sent it. And when a refund is due, they have it deposited into your bank account quickly.
I chose Embrace because they are one of the few pet insurance companies that will cover genetic / hereditary problems with dogs. I have two pure bred French Bulldogs - which are very prone to health issues. So its nice to have the piece of mind that if they do have issues with breathing, hips, spines, eyes, skin, etc ... that i should be covered.

very good with a few moderations
Having pet insurance gives me confidence for the future of my beloved Daisy. She's middle aged and I worry about the aging process but having ASPCA lessens my concern. Two things I would like: more provision for preventative care -faster turn around time for payments- Most Docs want payment up front and I'm on a fixed income -I take care of Daisy but I have to cut back on my own meds(and I'm 80) until my claim is paid.

Hip problem
I have five cats so having pet insurance is important to me. You never know when something will happen so having pet insurance really helps. I had one of my cats needing medical attention that was beyond just routine care in the past few months. This was very expensive but with the insurance it made the whole experience more affordable.

Good customer service for new customer
I recently enrolled my three pets (a dog & two cats) in Embrace Pet Insurance. I added the wellness option to cover yearly exams. The next month, I took my pets to the vet. Within two weeks of submitting the claim, I received payment for all three. Additionally, I would say that I have had several interactions with customer service by phone and through e-mail. The contacts have mostly been to either resolve my questions or to ask for more information about my pets. The customer service has been efficient and well organized.

My boys are Embraced!
This is by far the best pet insurance out there. Every question or concern has always been addressed within hours; claims are processed within days and I've never been frustrated by an explanation of benefits. I highly recommend Embrace to anyone who asks me about pet insurance.

A Definite Must for Your Pet
I decided to get pet insurance for my dog Daisy because with her being a mixed small breed dog (Yorkie/Maltese), I had heard that small dogs get sick a lot. Well my ASPCA insurance has helped me out tremendously. I have had it for a year and I can't count the amount of times I have filed claims. Daisy had to get spayed as well as getting a small tumor removed from her right paw. She has been in for her annual exams, shots and some unexpected visits as well and ASPCA has covered all of the items. I have been pleased with my experience with them. Customer Service has been super friendly.

Pets Best is a FRAUD!!!
I recently purchased insurance from Pets Best in July 2010 after I got the bill for my beloved "Clarisse" who passed away in May 2010. The total bill for her was $4600.00 dollars. I just wanted some peace of mind as I'm a multi cat owner. I researched various companies from your sight and others and I thought Pets Best offered what I needed. WAS I EVER WRONG!!! I submitted a claim for "Lucky" approx 10 days after the 14 day waiting period. Lucky developed urinary output complications. I took him to my vet and she performed an x ray and various other tests. He was put on a special diet for a month but to no avail. Lucky was then given an ultrasound and the stones were still present. He required surgery on September 8, 2010. I was informed my initial claim for the x rays etc; had been denied due to what Pets Best considerd a pre-existing condition! How can it be pre-existing if he showed no symptoms? If he had no medical issue's for the last 12 months, how can it be pre-existing? Wouldn't tumors and cancer be pre-existing? It was explained that the stones were pre-existing because it took "some time" for them to develop! I asked customer care what does some time mean? If Lucky had the symptoms later on this year, say in November, would it still be pre-existing? They couldn't answer! Now, I'm out another $2400.00 dollars! STAY AWAY FROM PETS BEST!!! All they want is your hard earned money!!! I have filed complaints with the Department of Consumer Affairs and the Department of Ba
