I have been pleased with ASPCA for my 2 bostons
I have 2 boston terriers who, thankfully, have been quite healthy. In the past 3-4 yrs. I have only had 3 claims. I like the choice of levels of coverage....my only disappointment (and I have not needed it yet) is that I did not understand about 'continuing coverage'. I will be adding that to my premium at renewal for both of my boys. The claims that have been accepted and paid (after my deductible) were completed quickly without hassle. My entire purpose to have pet insurance is to make sure I am not faced with not being able to give the proper care due to cost of the vet services. I feel secure having the insurance.

Kennel Cough
My dog had a significant case of Kennel Cough and we had to bring him to our vet. There were a few things that she had to look at and it wound up costing us a few hundred dollars. I am glad we had the ASPCA pet insurance because it did cover a significant amount of the total bill (after the deductable was paid). The ASPCA pet insurance plan is great as long as its not a pre-existing issue. Our dog has an ongoing ear issue due to a food allergy that we had treated by our vet prior to getting the insurance and when we submitted a claim for that they rejected it. I would suggest that if you buy a puppy/kitten, and can afford it, to purchase a pet insurance plan but definitely do your homework first.

Very pleased
My cat ingested a toxic plant and was hospitalized for three nights on an IV. (Two nights in an emergency clinic and one night at my regular vet clinic). I faxed a claim to Trupanion in the morning the day after my cat's release from hospital and received an email in the afternoon the same day to let me know my claim had already been processed. 90% of my costs minus the physical exam fee were reimbursed and I received the funds within a week (almost $500). Very fast service.

Starting to question the quality of Embrace
I have been an Embrace customer for two years, and we have had two events with our Beagle that warranted filing a claim. The first event we had no problems with, prompt communication and prompt payment. We are now trying to collect on our second claim and Embrace is making it as difficult as possible to even file a claim. They said they have "updated their administrative requirements" and now require medical history for three years in order to process a claim. They won't even consider the claim unless this is provided. Funny that they had no problems accepting our insurance premiums, but now claim that we aren't eligible for insurance without medical history. This after we have been customers for two years and previously filed a claim that went through just fine. BEWARE, it seems that they are reducing the quality of service. I will update this after we go through their administrative hula hoops and get them the medical history, but it seems very fishy.

Great customer service, really cares about your pet
Embrace was super quick to respond to our claim about our dog being attacked at doggie day care. Our dog had attack wounds on his head that resulted in stitches and Embrace took care of reimbursing us after meeting our deductible. The response was quick and the customer service was outstanding. We did our research before choosing a pet insurance company, and I have no doubt that Embrace is the way to go, highly recommended just for the fact that these people care about your pets. BTW, Embrace sends out email newsletters discussing safety and health tips, just another way to show that they are looking out for your pets.

Embrace is Fabulous!!
I was very happy with Embrace pet insurance. My dog had a torn ACL and required surgery. The customer service during, before and after his surgery was wonderful.... and the people I spoke with actually cared about my dog. My reimbursement check for $3005.00 came much faster than was expected and without a ton of paperwork and phone calls. I highly recommend Embrace to anyone! I wish my human health insurance was as easy to deal with!

PetsBest delivers as promised
I am a veterinarian and my own kitty was recently treated for hyperthyroidism (too much thyroid hormone produced by an overactive thyroid gland). I submitted my claim and, in less than two weeks, I was reimbursed just as promised by my policy; no questions asked, no wild goose chases looking through medical records for an excuse not to provide reimbursement. I have great faith in this company and no reluctance recommending PetsBest to my clients.
