I wish you would cover exam fees. I didn't shop around when I signed up with Trupanion and have found other companies that do cover exam fees. The breeder service I got Hannah through recommended coverage through you.

I joined ASPCA in February. The very next month we really needed it. My Dachshund/Chihuahua mix was running outside and ruptured a disc in her lower back. This left her paralyzed almost immediately! I took her to an Animal Neurology center where they did an MRI and did surgery to remove the spinal compression. Summer had to stay in the hospital for nearly a week. Needless to say, my medical bill was very steep. I submitted my claim and crossed my fingers that the surgery and all of the other necessities would be covered. They covered 90% less her annual deductible! I was so relieved as I didn't know how I was going to pay off that credit card bill! I am a very happy client so far!

I've been with embrace for a less than a year. Overall I'm pleased. They are very thorough, almost to a fault. This most recent claim, took a week to process. I have another claim from 1-2017, that I'm still trying to get resolved. This is where I say they're very thorough. I've never had pet insurance before. My other Great Dane was 6.5 when he died, he had a terminal intestinal disease. When he was first diagnosed at age 3, the vet gave him a year to live. We were very lucky to have him for another 3.5 years. I don't regret 1 penny, but we spent thousands of dollars. I knew that when we got another dog, I would get the pet insurance. If we didn't need it, than great.

I absolutely love Healthy Paws Pet Insurance! Our two year old chihuahua Layla was attacked and bit by another dog recently. She suffered deep puncture wounds on her back leg, and my husband and I were devastated and very worried. She needed emergency surgery, a hospital stay for two nights, lab tests, and several vet appointments. The vet bills really added up quickly, but knowing we had insurance for her really put us at ease about the bills and allowed us to focus on her recovery. I submitted the bills easily online with Healthy Paws, and they approved the claims very quickly, and without any questions. Healthy Paws paid over $1,600 of Layla's vet bills (90% of covered charges, minus the deductible). She recovered surprisingly quickly and is back to her old self. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

I have had Trupanion Insurance a number of years now and would NOT be without it!Their customer service is superb, claims are resolved quickly, their communication is stellar. Each and every time I have contacted Trupanion I have been greeted (and TREATED) in a warm, friendly manner. Not only does Trupanion genuinely care about our pets, they genuinely care about pet parents too!
