No hassles with claim.
Sometime last summer my Labradoodle helped herself to leftover corn on the cob out of the trash. For some reason it took until Thanksgiving week to cause an intestinal obstruction. She had to have emergency surgery. She is almost 4 and I have had Embrace since she was a pup. This was my first claim and I anticipated there may be some hassle. I submitted the paper work and all went very smoothly. They communicated with me frequently with e-mail and I was very pleased. It gives me peace of mind knowing they are reliable and honest.

I am thankful for my ASPCA Pet Health Insurance!
In May 2010, my cat Jack was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus. Getting ASPCA Pet Health Insurance with Continuing Care for Jack was the best thing I did in 2008, when I originally found out about pet health insurance. Now, Jack is happy and healthy and I am submitting regular claims for his treatments.
Over the past year, I've found that having a pet with diabetes is expensive, even more because I have other pets who also need to see the vet. The ongoing veterinary expenses piled up quickly and were threatening to become a financial burden. Luckily, I had pet insurance for all my cats.
Between his blood tests and the cost of a three-month supply of insulin and syringes, I ended up paying around $650 for Jack's first two visits to the vet. In addition to these expenses, I found out I would have to take Jack in for monthly blood tests and I would have to by insulin every three months. All told, I spend approximately $150 per month to treat Jack's diabetes.
Without ASPCA Pet Health Insurance, Jack's diabetes diagnosis would have forced me to make some difficult financial decisions. While Jack's blood tests and insulin are certainly not cheap, recouping a percentage of my out-of-pocket expenses has been critically important for my finances.
I have had nothing but positive experiences with my ASPCA Pet Health Insurance policy.
Everyone should purchase pet health insurance, even if there doesn't seem to be an immediate need! Planning ahead will sav

The most reasonable & affordable pet ins
I have this insurance for my dog Leo and my 2 cats Morris & Noah. ASPCA really helped out alot when Noah became ill with a stubborn UTI that would not go away until many expensive tests to find the right medicine that would treat his UTI Noah underwent many weeks of injections I had to give him daily for his UTI and it was very costly. ASPCA helped pay most of his expenses in a timely manner. I am so happy I have my four legged kids insured with ASPCA

Trupanion saves a life
In June of this year my little kitty Jezebel was diagnosed with vaccine related fibrosarcoma on her right hip. To say that my world came crashing down was an understatement. I had signed up for Trupanion pet insurance in January. I had never used it. I was scared. I was scared for my kitty’s life, and I was scared that the insurance would not work and I knew I did not have the money to pay thousands for her treatments. Well let me tell you, Trupanion does exactly what it says it does. They have paid $15,000 to date for Jezebel’s surgery, CAT Scans, chemo and radiation. She is finished with her treatments and currently cancer free. I have never had anything but the best experience with Trupanion and my amazing claim handler Teresa Lee. I fax my claim on a Monday and I receive a check by Saturday. I had so much to worry about with Jezebel and the very aggressive nature of her cancer and taking her for treatments 3x per week. Trupanion was a blessing that they paid so much money for my baby and they were sooooo easy to deal with. They really care about your pets. They all bring their pets to work. It’s a great company. I highly recommend Trupanion.

Stress Free Claims Process
My first experience using my Pet Insurance was a stress free one. The claims process was done completely online. The claim was processed within one week. The policy covered 80% of the amount that was above my policy deductible. I have enrolled in the direct deposit option and this will expedite the reimbursement process.

Thank you Trupanion!!
One week before Thanksgiving our 2 year old Mastiff became ill. Upon waking Thursday morning she was lethargic and disinterested in eating/going out. I left work early to get her to our vet. Initially they suspected an intestinal blockage per xrays. Upon doing blood work they found her red blood count was down to 9% and she needed an immediate transfusion. We rushed down to the nearest emergency care facility (an hour away) where she was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). She spent the better part of ten days at the facility receiving round the clock care and numerous blood transfusions and expensive immunosuppressants. She finally began to stabilize after 8 days. My wife and I were worried that we were going to have to make the hard choice. Thank goodness we didn't. We submitted a claim of over 10k to Trupanion. They covered everything save for our $100 deductible and a 10% copay.
She still has a long way to go, 6-8 month of treatment, and even then there is no guarantee that her disease won't strike again. But we feel confident that if it returns (or if another problem comes up), Trupanion will take care of us.
Not only would I recommend them to anyone I know, I will never have another dog that isn't insured by Trupanion.

Trupanion Insurance is Criminal!!
I have a 3 year old lab that I insured from a puppy because I had previous problems with another dog. They have raised the premiums twice now and I have just received another notice they are increasing my premium - ALMOST DOUBLE!! My lab has had skin problems and now I can't even go to another carrier and be covered because this would be considered a pre-existing condition. It's absolutely criminal that they can get away with this and don't have to answer to anyone. They can arbitrarily decide to double my premium - I feel like I've been dealing with the black market. I would stick with a plan that offers premiums that often
