Absolutely love this company!

I've always been skeptical of pet insurance companies as I've been told for years that they never really pay when you need them. Because I have two large dogs, however, I carried the insurance for 3 years just in case. Recently my 6 year old labradoodle tore his ACL and required surgery (very expensive surgery, I might add) and I'm happy to report that not only did Pet's Best pay 80%, but they processed my claim in 2 days. I couldn't believe how quickly I received payment! I can't say enough good things about this company, and would strongly recommend them to everyone.

Excellent communication and follow-through

This is my first experience with pet health insurance and so far I am very happy. I needed a lot of explanation and then made several changes in the first weeks of my new policy and each time I phoned Embrace the reps I spoke to were courteous, patient, and took immediate action. Every phone call was followed by a confirmation email letting me know the requested changes had been made. I've only had one vet visit so far and I received a partial reimbursement check for that visit about a week and a half later. Having never had pet insurance before, that check made my day! I look forward to my future dealings with Embrace and feel like just knowing the insurance is there lifts the burden of wondering "what if" when it comes to the health care of my dog.

Awesome customer service

I have only had Embrace for the last 3months and i was referred by my vet to look into Embrace,that he found they are the best pet insurance and he was right. I did check other pet insurances, including Petsmart. Petsmart insurance is only for their vet and certain locations,. Embrace allows you to go anywhere and offer many different plans to work with you and your pet.I just turned in a wellness claim and was reimbursed quickly.When you call with any ?? they are great and you will have your answer when the call is finished. I have referred Embrace to my family and friends and now my husband is telling his co workers about the pet insurance that his wife picked out.Iam very pleased and I have peace knowing that I have insurnace on my pet...Thank you Embrace for the excellent customer service that you have provided to me.

Great company!!

I typically never write reviews but Trupanion has been unbelievable and I wanted to share my experience.My cat is 12 years old and last year I started shopping for an insurance company because although she had always been healthy she was getting older. It was hard to find an insurance company that would cover an older cat indefinitely, especially with all the sketchy reviews. I finally decided to stick to Trupanion and that was the best decision I made. I have 90% coverage, no deductible and they even improved my policy after enrollment and waived my lifetime limit (which was 20,000 when I signed) A couple of months after my policy started, my cat got sick and she required multiple tests and visits to the vet. I have filed approx 6-7 claims (probably total >1000$) and I have been extremely surprised and pleased. They have never denied a claim and on the contrary they go out of their way to make sure that everything is processed in a timely manner. Their claims are usually processed in 2-4 days and I usually get the checks the following week. I am a very satisfies costumer and have recommended Trupanion to all my friends who are pet lovers!!

Great company!!

Pleased and surprised

I have never had pet insurance before, but after purchasing a new pointer pup for quite a price, I felt I needed to provide protection for her. After much research I settled on Embrace as having the most BANG for the buck. I have been tremendously surprised and pleased with their caring attitude and quick response to claims. I heartily recommend Embrace to anyone with a pet.

In This Recession?...Pet Insurance is a Must!

My little Mimi, a black fluffy medium haired 4 year old cat, suffered an injury to her right front leg. I didn't witness the injury, but just noticed she seemed to be in pain and was limping and sometimes holding up her right paw. I checked her paw, thinking her claw may have been torn or her footpad injured, nothing was found. I decided to wait a day or so to see if she would get better. It only became worse. Reluctantly I took her to the vet. I say reluctantly, because I was unemployed and on very limited income. Financially this just was a very bad time, but my sweety Mimi needed care. My veterinarian examined Mimi and found no visible injury. She prescribed baby aspirin to ease the pain and suggested I return for x-rays if Mimi was still limping in 2 weeks. Well, 2 weeks later we were back at the veterinarian. X-rays were complete and we were all pleased to find no broken or fractured bones, but still perplexed as to why she was limping. We concluded, a possible sprain. As the weeks went by with twice per week doses of baby aspirin, Mimi steadily improved and is now doing fine. However...(sigh)... there was the bill. Not outrageous charges from my long standing veterinarian, but a good portion from an unemployment check. I am so thankful and grateful I had ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. It was so easy. I simply faxed my veterinarian receipts and claim form to the ASPCA. With a quick e-mail they informed that my claim was being processed. Within a few wee

The diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Disease came after numerous blood tests, x-rays and consultations. It could have been much worse - lymphoma, kidney, pancreatic or liver disease. But this insurance policy allowed us to find out what the real problem was. Now we have Thomas on a diet that will keep him comfortable and halt the weight loss. We will be able to enjoy him for a few years more. And for a 14 year old cat that's not bad. I would change only one thing - the pre-existing disease clause. Basically, it means that you have $1500 per incident per year - after that you are not covered for that condition unless your pet has had no medication or consultation for 6 months after the renewal date of your policy.
