Very Helpful and Understanading
Coco's been with Embrace going on 2 yrs. They've always been good at fast reimbursements. We went with Wellness options this year and brought her in for teeth cleaning. The renewal had overlap with the older because I had paid a week before plan expired. I had thought she was already under the Wellness option. Laura was very understanding and applied the teeth cleaning on the new plan. I had brought Coco in a week early before the new plan took effect. Laura was very understanding to make this one time exception. I am very please with Embrace and would not hesitate to recommend friends to Embrace.

Embrace Saved Our Puppy
Until we got Jade, I thought pet insurance was kind of a ridiculous idea. However, after spending as much as we did on training and equipment (crate, toys, etc.), and finding out how expensive some medical procedures could be (after discussing it with our trainer), we decided that insurance was a smart way to protect our investment (both financially and emotionally). We signed up with Embrace, never expecting to have costs that actually topped our $500 deductible. Our trainer recommended Embrace because they cover breed-specific genetic conditions, whereas most pet insurance companies do not. This turned out to be the most valuable part of the insurance for us. About 6 months after we signed up for the insurance, Jade started to squeal whenever she would try to stand up. We brought her in to our local emergency clinic, where they discovered she had dysplasia in her right hip. Further investigation at MSU vet hospital revealed that she also had Salter-Harris fractures on both Femurs. Both conditions have required multiple trips to both our local vet and MSU (at an average of about $500 per trip), and Embrace has covered 80% of our costs for every visit, from the first one to the emergency hospital to the $4,600 Total Hip Replacement surgery she just had at MSU three weeks ago. She has also needed several medications to control the pain from the conditions and the surgery, and those were covered as well. If we didn't have Embrace Pet Insurance, we would never have bee

Very Helpful! !
Our dog Vodka had an hemorragic gastro-enteritis and was very sick ! She had to stay at the animal hospital for 4 days then had to come back etc... It costs us in a few days a fortune but the ASPCA reimbursed us a comfortable share of it. The claims were submitted very quickly and we received our check very fast !!

Insuring My Pet to Protect My Daughter
I purchased pet insurance on the advise of a friend, when I got our first family dog, Micky. I never want to have to have a conversation with my young daughter, because we had to weigh the cost of any medical procedure for our pet. My mischevious little beagle has gotten into two scrapes requiring emergency vet care, and the insurance has paid for itself in the year we have had it. They process payments quickly, and for the cost, it gives me great peace of mind.

Wellness Coverage
Most pets have to see the vet at least twice per year just for wellness vaccines & to get preventive meds for heartworm, flees & ticks. Unfortunately this plan only allows for once per year, so any wellness preventatives over $200 are out of pocket. I wish there was a plan for higher coverage that wouldn't be too much more per month. I'm glad my pet hasn't had a serious injury or illness, but the regular wellness care adds up.

Embrace Wellness Rewards Plan is Great
Embrace Pet Insurance's new Wellness Rewards Plan certainly pays off! Who can turn down paying $149 for $200 in return on veterinary services and products we pay for anyway?
The Wellness Rewards Plan does not involve a deductible because it is not insurance. When I purchased a 6 pack of Revolution via Drs. Foster and Smith on two occasions, I submitted scans of a claim form and the invoice via email and Embrace made direct deposits to our checking account for the full amount within 2 weeks. The amount was deducted from the $200 limit on the Wellness Rewards plan for each of our dogs.
Most recently, we took our two girls in for their annual exams and vaccines. I submitted the invoices and claim forms, as above, and direct deposits for the exam and vaccines up to the remainder of the $200 maximum were received within 2 weeks again!
We've loved Embrace Pet Insurance since we first took out policies on our 3 dogs in June 2007. They've always processed claims quickly and we love that we can customize a plan that fits our budget (choice of deductible, coverage, etc.). The staff is always kind and very helpful. In late October, we had to say a final good-bye to our oldest dog due to bone cancer. Embrace was beside us during the entire illness and at the end. We even received individual emails from Embracers expressing their condolences - very touching, yet surprising from a business.
The new Wellness Rewards Plan is great for customers, but also a wise move for

One of the best things I have ever done for my cat
When Baxter adopted us two years ago, my husband and I had gone back and forth about getting coverage for him. In the end I went with my instincts and purchased the plan. I had previously spent over $1500.00 on a surgery for one of my other cats when he had bladder stones and I did not want to take the risk of not having my new companion covered. It has been so worth it. In October Baxter was diagnosed with Diabetes. We worked through the first few weeks of getting it under control and since he has been able to come off of the insulin. He also had a major infection, which we were also able to take care of. This insurance has been our saving grace. We have spent over $1500.00 and gotten back at least half of that. It has given us such a peace of mind to know that we have the safety net when any of our pets fall ill.

Super fast claim turnaround time!
I took my dog to the ER last week for a liver problem that ended up costing about $1400 all said and done. Being so close to Christmas, I didn't think I would be able to purchase any Christmas presents for my family. I filed the claim with Pets Best, and I literally got my reimbursement 3 days later! I coulnd't be happier with this company. They never deny any of my claims, and are very fast with reimbursements. And most importantly, Christmas will be extra special with my dog Rascal being healthy, and being able to buy gifts for my family. Thank you again Pets Best, and I will reccomend you to friends and family!!

It's Insurance That's Worth the Expense
I have had a very good experience with ASPCA health insurance since I started purchasing it three years ago. For years I had only cats and didn't bother with insurance - and indeed, it would not have been cost effective. But then I got a dog and boy, am I glad I have insurance! I'm thankful that it doesn't pay for itself some years, but other years are different: a cut paw here, ingesting something bad there, it adds up. And the claims process is very simple and quick, with complete and clear explanations of the amounts. Why can't human health insurers do the same?

There when I needed it.
I signed up for pet insurance in Sept 2010 after thinking about it for about a year. I have two pets and the Dr visits themselfs where costing me more then I could handle at times. I thought what would I do if something major happened to either of my pets? How could I afford to take care of it? Would I have that conversation with myself saying does my pet really need this when I can't afford it or do I get the treatment and hope I can somehow pay for it.
Well that senerio happened about 1 month after I signed my pets up for the Embrace insurance. Oct of 2010 my dog had broken a tooth. Not just any tooth but a molar. I had my regular vet give me an estimate on how much it would cost to fix it. The estimate was for an extraction for around $1200.00 I was shocked. I submitted it to the Embrace Insurace. While I was waiting for a reply a friend who is a vet noticed that she had broken the other molar on the other side of her mouth and suggested I go see a specilist because now my dog had two major broken teeth. In the mean time, I had recieved a reply from Embrace saying the insurance would cover about 3/4 of the first estimate and they also showed concern for my pet and what we were going through. It was nice that the paperwork part of having insurance was not just paperwork. Having the knowledge that my pet was covered by Embrace Insurance going in to the appiontment with the specialist gave me comfort knowing that what ever the estimate was from this specialist I would b
