We researched pet insurance on this website and eventually chose to go with Embrace based on the reviews and price. We bought accident insurance for our puppy as soon as she was old enough and had to make claims for a sprained ankle and illness in the past six months. The claim refunds were recieved within a month and the customer service on the phone was better than I expect (of course I usually deal with horrible companies like the cable and phone company). Seems like a good company so far so I'd recommend them

Having lost my 7 year old pointer to cancer, I was quite concerned to find a lump on my new pointer's shoulder. Upon examination it was found to be the residue of her rabies shot and has since disappeared. Embrace took care of the bill quickly. Thank you Embrace.

I have nothing but good to say about Embrace. The claims process is quick and easy. The reimbursement checks were delivered in a timley manner. One of my dogs came down with Valley Fever and a few months later he broke a bone in his paw. I estimate that I saved about 80% on the vet bills so far. I am very pleased with the quick and cordial processing of the two claims that I have submitted thus far. I appreciate the "personal" attention and the fact that there appeared to be no strings attached to the reimbursements. My puppies (Benny and June) are very happy too!

This was my first claim submitted to Embrace. I have worked in the employee benefits insurance field for over 30 years. Embrace is the Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield for our furry and feathered "kids". The claim process was quick, the EOB was easy to understand, and the claim payment was reasonable. I filed a claim for my Great Dane, 2 weeks later the claim was processed and a check was sent to my house! Since this is my first dealings with a pet insurance company, i was very skeptical. I thought for sure they would come up with something so that my claim wouldnt be covered ($6,500.00 claim). Not the case at all!! They were prompt with my reimbursement. I feel very thankful that my Dane has recovered and that Pets Best made this stressful time much easier for us.

For the one claim I have submitted the customer service was good. I was totally s****** by my previous insurance so I am a bit cynical. The previous insurance was affiliated/through an organization that supposedly puts animals first. But with Embrace, as I said, so far so good!

This was the first year we had pet insurance on our dog. Our Golden had some problems with an ear infection and dermatitis resulting from a food allergy. Embrace handled the resulting claims very efficiently and kept us fully informed on the status of the claims via email. Their overall customer service (from issuing and renewing the policy to claims processing) has been outstanding.

I put in a claim form and had the wrong claim at the veterinary clinic. So, when I emailed Embrace. They sent me the correct form, but I have been tied up working. Therefore, as a complimentary to me they allowed my claim to go through today, which is within 2 weeks. And I have direct deposit so it will be in my account within 2 days. It was the standard orthopedic exam, vaccination shots, and wellness. A tip for owners-Always keep accurate notes on your animal, keep receipts, always ask questions, and keep your animal up to date with vaccinations. This company has assisted me when I put in my paperwork without having a chance to fill out my claim form. They expedited my claim at a very fast rate with direct deposit. I am very pleased with the customer service experience and recommend this company to any pet owner, which I have been doing so. Thank you so much Embrace!

My dog was diagnosed by her verterinarian with distichia and referred us to an opthamologist - the opthamologist rediagnosed my dog with ectopic cillia and the surgery was done. Her original vet had told me that her pet insurance wouldn't cover any cost for this as it's a congenital disorder, well, he was wrong. My claims have been processed and Trupanion covered the costs. For my first time actually using my dog's insurance, Trupanion has made it a positive experience!
