Excellent communication on claim
We adopted an adult German Shepard from the SPCA four years ago. We hadn't purchased insurance for other pets we'd owned and had some large vet bills with our last dog so thought we'd try insurance this time just in case. We had one small claim in the first year that was settled promptly and then just before Christmas our vet said that we needed to get X-rays and tests for a heart murmur. It was pretty expensive but we swallowed, handed the credit card over, and then submitted a claim. We received an email within 48 hours advising us that the claim had been received and was being reviewed, and today, one week after we faxed it in, we received an email notification that it had been approved. We hadn't expected to hear back so quickly. It was great news.

Great service, hassle free claims
We had never purchased pet insurance before and so, we researched many companies. Embrace seemed to have everything we were looking-low cost and good coverage if we needed it. Didn't really think we would be needing it but our weimaraner, Willy, proved us wrong. He is a joy and a clutz. He managed to cut his leg elegantly while walking in the basement, bang into the wall at 'doggy daycare' and get a bruise on his side that was the size of his head. Embrace has been great with the claims. The claims process is efficient and easy, and they respond to questions right away. We will be coninuing our coverage for Willy. We've also started agility classes (let's all hope it helps his coordination).

WORST CHEATERS EVER!!!!!
This company is highly corrupted. I called one year ago because apparently my insurance covered NOTHING within the first year of constant veteran visits with our new puppy. When I spoke to their representative she offered a more expensive plan however, I made it very clear that I was no longer interested in doing further business with them and I wanted to CANCEL the plan for other options with another company. Quite frankly the operator was VERY rude and snobby, she never informed me of a cancellation email, so I took her word for it and naively thought it was taken care of. Now a year later, I receive and email 'renewing' my already cancelled services. I am just frustrated by their need to swindle a common customer. If they can do it to me, then they can do it to whomever they please. Their business etiquette is very questionable and continuing any type of business with them is NOT recommended. VPI Insurance has been very help and that is a company I would recommend for pet insurance. I personally find it ironic that Pets Best also founded VPI, however their management is profoundly superior.

All Pets Need Health Insurance
After spending the cost of a new car on the medical bills of my last cat, because of various conditions throughout the years and the last months before she died her bills were extremely expensive. We got her at the age of two and she lived to be seventeen. When I got her,the Vet suggested Health Insurance. I was sorry I didnt get it. Don't let this happen to you. As soon as I purchased my Persian kitten, that was the first thing I did. We have used the insurance to cover his neutering and a bacterial problem. We have Health Insurance on ourselves, so why not our furry children. ASPCA claims are easy to submit and reimbursement is quick.

Prompt and Courteous Service
Our Swiss Mountain Dog, Caly, was diagnosed with a likelihood of bone chips in her left elbow. Impossible to see, the only real way to determine the source of her lameness was surgery. Further the orthopedic surgeon recommended doing both sides because of the frequency to which this is a bilateral problem. The surgeons at Alpenglow offered a very fair price on the diagnostic of second elbow, and billed it as a seperate claim. The good folks at Embrace, without hesitation, included this billing in our claim, and promptly paid the 80% covered in our policy. Not only were they prompt and accurate in their handling of the claim, we have since received 2 inquiries from the Embrace staff as to Caly's recovery and condition. To us, this represents the manner in which our Embracers demonstrate their genuine concern for our pet.

Absolutely Satisfied, Every time!
I have had all my cats insured by Pets Best for over two years now. I've used the insurance for both illnesses and emergencies, several times. My cat Bugsy has had some health problems since last October and had to go to the vet numerous times, including a trip to the ER. The claims are very simple to fill out, the process is quick and easy, the customer service is superb and usually within7 business days I get the money back deposited directly into my checking account by direct deposit. To this day, I have never had a problem with them... Never had a claim denied, a service that was not paid, a payment that was delayed... In fact, I don't think I was even on hold on the phone for over 2 minutes whenever I called in to talk about my plan or to check on a claim, which is rare nowadays. The claim is only one page long, it comes out of the computer almost completely filled out with my information, and all that is left to do is the vet to put in the diagnosis, date, sign and send it in, which can be done by uploading right in their site, by fax or by mail. They also have the option to pay straight to the vet if your vet accepts this arrangement, another nice feature I have not seen in other companies.
I had nothing but great experiences with Pets Best, and highly recommend the company to anyone who is shopping for insurance... It is a huge peace of mind to know my babies will always be taken care of whenever they need medical attention!

Awesome
Our dog Precious is a beagle and we have had her for 7 years. She is very smart and has brought us many years of happiness. My husband and I decided that as she grows older,we want to make sure that she has great care should she require serious medical care. She is very curious and loves to go camping with us. We chose the plan that met our needs and have submitted several claims that were processed in a timely manner.I was impressed at the different types of plans, coverage and affordability. I have called ASPCA and have always received courteous and helpful information regarding my needs and questions. I would recommend this insurance to anyone thinking about the importance of insuring their pets.

Repeat Customer
In May 2009 we lost our beloved 13 year old Jack Russell. We then adopted two schnauzer mixes and decided we would try the insurance this go round. I did alot of research against the big names and finally chose this start up company because they were in Ohio and I wanted to support local businesses. I have been very pleased with the customer support and the quick turn around in processing claims. I will definiately continue to use Embrace Pet. I would not endorse a company in which I wasn't sure about their performance.
