Extremely grateful to have ASPCA Pet Insurance!
Last year my sweet adopted dog,Spot became very I'll. She had a severe kidney infection that required much medical attention. I was trying to work and take care of Spot-every pay check was going towards her health care and as I saved the bills to hopefully be reimbursed for a portion of her care I didn't have time to send in her claims. As soon as Spot finished a six week round of antibiotics the vet told me she had another infection. This went on for six months. One night when I arrived home from work Spot seemed unusually energetic. I thought wow this is great -she was racing around full of energy and I thought finally she is feeling better than ever. Unfortunately when I went into another room I saw a few left over crumbs that had been part of a very rich chocolate birthday cake. I called an emergency care clinic and described her symptoms and needless to say she spent the night receiving more care. Meanwhile she continued to get reoccurring bladder and kidney infections and was sent to a specialists-more tests-and I was really worried about Spot and of course it was getting out of hand financially. I was out of my home state at the time and after finishing up my seasonal job I returned home and consulted my vet who consulted all the vets that had taken care of Spot. A plan was put in place to give her antibiotics the first five days of each month and I am very happy to say that she is once again healthy and back to her energetic self. Fast response!
Embrace reimbursed our wellness claim for flea & tick medication fast and without any problems. The customer service folks are a joy to work with and I would highly recommend this product.

Don't enter your phone number online!
I really do like the ASPCA plans and their U&C way of reimbursing is by far better than most out there. Even the companies that claim to pay 90% of the vet bill do have a limit on what they reimburse.
However, if you are just browsing the web and enter your phone number for a quote THEY WILL CALL YOU withing seconds if you don't enroll. I found this very irritating and the hype over the "special offer" is just a free trial with a bunch of exclusions. ASPCA would be better off just letting truly interested folks call in for themselves.
I also thing a company representing the ASPCA should cover some hereditary conditions. Even a limit of $500 like the others do would be better than nothing. After all, the ASPCA is all about RESCUES and most rescues have limited health history or were from puppy mills, BYB'ers etc. The owner and rescuer should get a little help and a break. As I stated, good plans but don't enter your phone # online!

Healthy Paws is AMAZING!
We recently got our adorable little puppy and very soon found out that the costs really started adding up with each vet visit. We are so so happy that we found Healthy Paws! While each of our vet visits have been adding up to between $200 - 300, we found that in a matter of one vet visit we had already managed to pay the annual deductible and gotten a very prompt email letting us know that we had a check in the mail for the remaining 90% that was covered. The insurance has more than paid for itself and it is amazing to have the peace of mind that we aren't breaking the bank every time we have to take our puppy in for another one of his many episodes (eating something he isn't supposed to or other issues that develop with age). Also, we have heard of so many people who have paid tens of thousands because they have a dog with cancer or one that has been in a car accident. It makes me feel much better that I won't have to make the choice between my life's savings and my dog's health/life... all for less than I pay monthly for my cell phone bill! So so happy again that we found Healthy Paws! It is nice to know that there is a prompt friendly service like this one that rewards people for being contentious pet owners. Thanks guys! :)

Bella "the accident prone Boxer"!
We have had Bella since she was 8 weeks old. We should have had insurance on her since she was 8 weeks old too! At about 6 months, she got so sick we thought she wasn't going to make it... almost $3,000 later and we got her some insurance. Bella is enrolled in an accident and illness plan. In the 3-1/2 years we've had pet insurance we've made mulitple claims (IE: eating string and having severe digestive issues, being bitten by another dog, once she even slipped out of her collar and launched herself out of the back of a truck!). It is easy to file claims and track them online. The time frame for receiving reimbursement checks is quite reasonable.
Bella is a member of our family and I want to know she is as protected as everyone else. Knowing I have coverage on her gives me peace of mind. I would do anything for my dog and having insurance on her just makes it a whole lot easier telling her vet to do whatever needs to be done to make sure she's OK a lot easier!

Pets Best is simply the Best
Our Italian Greyhound is extremely petite (7 lbs) and has gone through quite a tough year with double breaks. Pets best really cares about helping take care of animals. They don't claim to cover injuries and then somehow not cover them. I am amazed at how quickly they respond to your claims and process them. They make every attempt to help to make a difficult time easier, the claim form is very easy to fill out, and if you need to contact them they are always there for you to assist in anyway possible. I searched around for insurance and Pets Best is absolutely the best if you own an Italian Greyhound. They do not exclude you just because this breed is fragile. I love Pets Best and owe my dogs recovery to not just Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center, Dr. Hart and his wonderful staff but also Pets Best for helping to make his surgery possible. I will never be without Pets Best or Dr. Hart and his crew.

We LOVE Embrace!!
We have 2 pups that are covered by Embrace - both young, but seemingly always at the Vet's office! Embrace has been great about not only addressing our claims in a timely manner, but also reaching out to us promptly if there has ever been any concern on our end. The staff constantly emails us with updates, and also asks about how are pets are doing by name. They feel like an extended part of the family - taking care of our Lucy and Ollie as well as we do :)

Very quick reimbursement!
Shortly after submitting my wellness claim for Sho-na's spay procedure, I had my reimbursement direct deposited into my checking account. By shortly, I mean within a week! Thankfully, I've only needed to use my Wellness insurance. No injuries or illnesses "yet". But if that does happen, I'm confident Embrace would be right on top of reimbursing! I'm very pleased so far.

So Far So Good
Embrace has been great in helping me with my dog, Mookie's, insurance coverage. Any question I have i get a quick response. I just received my first reimbursement check and was pleased at the coverage. Even when one of my claims was lost I wrote a couple e-mails and the issue was taken care of. I am very pleased with Embrace!!! I did a lot of research on various insurances before I went with Embrace. I picked Embrace because of the reviews I had read, and because they have the best coverage. Thanks, Embrace!!!

Great Customer Service, but the jury is still out
I've had Embrace for a little over a year on both of my dogs and submitted a wellness claim and within a week I heard back and the check was in the mail. Everyone I've dealt with has been very helpful. I'm still waiting to hear back on another claim and will provide more feedback once that has been addressed.
