Jack the pekingese - I like my ASPCA Insurance
Jack is my second rescued Pekingese. My first was named Charlie Brown and he was very healthy for most of his life with me (about 11 years). The last year of his life he stopped eating and lost a lot of weight, it toke the vets several blood test, X-ray, and CT scan to determine he had cancer. During these several months the vet bill was run $500.00 - $600.00 a month. After adopting Jack, I decided to get pet insurance for him. I did an internet search and talk with my vets about pet insurance companies and compared plans and rates before deciding to go with ASPCA Health Insurance in October 2009. The biggest deciding fact was the once a year $100.00 deductible, most wanted a deductible every time. Jack has been very healthy for the two years he has been with me. I have only used the insurance three or four time for small problems and once for his yearly checkup. ASCPA Pet Health Insurance reimbursed me 80% for these vet visits. Having the insurance saved me some dollars but it also gives me peace of mind about Jack quality of life.

Great program
There looked to be blood in my male cat's urine. It took several trips to the vet and different tests to determine the cause and find the solution. I was very pleased with the response time and prompt reimbursement. I am very happy with the insurance and how reasonable the cost is compared to other plans.

Excellent experience with claims
It was so easy dealing with my first claim with Embrace. This our first dog and many people told me how skeptical they were about pet insurance, but we have already paid for our insurance with one claim. They were great about analyzing the charges and having an explanation. Very nice experience, I would recommend Embrace to any pet owner.

Worth Every Penny
I have had my dog for almost a year now and she has been a very healthy little girl. I started to wonder why I was paying $45/month when i wasn't seeing it being used. Well 2 weeks ago, my dog was very sick and had to spend 2 nights/3 days in the hospital. When I received the bill, I worried about the cost and how much I would get back. Luckily, I hadnt needed to submit any claims to Pets Best but I was worried there would be "small print" and a large chunk of my bill would not be covered. To my surprise and delight, the 80/20 rule was 100% percent accurate. Not only did I receive 80% of my bill, but the claim was processed exactly a week after receiving it and the direct deposit has already been put into my account. There are no secret or hidden agendas with PetsBest and they are the best insurance company. I am extremely happy with the results and would recommend them to any pet owner!

They do what they say they will do.
So far we have been plesantly surprised that what Embrace stated they would pay after deductable was met is exactly what they did pay. So may friends have pet insurance and they have horror stories, we can say that has not been the case with Embrace. We have already informed a number of people we do our dog training with that we are very pleased with your cover.

Ready for anything with our dog
Our lab mix, Abby, is still a puppy (at least in her mind) and tends to eat everything. She swallowed a large jagged rock. She stopped eating and could not get comfortable anywhere. We took her to the Emergency Vet (of course, this was on the weekend) and he took exrays and found the rock. He said we could do emergency surgery or wait one more day just to see if she passed it. Thankfully, she did. The bill was $214.50 (not in our budget). After our $100 deductible, ASPCA paid 80% quickly and without any fuss. It certainly made things easier for us.

Claims are a Breeze, Payment is Fast
I spent literally weeks researching pet insurance companies and even made my own spreadsheet to help me compare them. I have an older dog, which was the 1st obsticle when I was looking for insurance. But Trupanion didn't think that was a problem! Not only was my dog insured at his age, but they have no pay-out limit: not per incident, not per year, not even per LIFE! They had an easy-to-use sliding scale on their web site which let me choose how much I wanted to pay each month and how much I wanted my deductible to be! Trupanion has turned out literally be a life-saver for me and my dog because he could have died without me being able to afford his surgeries, and I love my dog so much that it would have felt like I was dying if he had. My dog has had to have 2 surgeries to remove masses/lumps, unbelieveably he woke up deaf from one of the surgeries, he had had an eye problem, and now has a fracture, which he got while we were out of state on vacation, and it requires surgery. Trupanion has been so awesome that now all of the vets and specialst we have had to see recommend them!!!! I can not say enough good things about them. They have made it so easy for filing all my claims: there is someone to asnswer you calls 24-7!!,they are kind and so caring while I was crying so much, the claims were processed within a week or less, they will even fax the forms to you or your vet or email it to them, the form is so short and easy to complete, they email me with updates on my claims and

Happy with the coverage.
Was please with the coverage this time around. You always want them to reimburse 100% with no duductable but that is unrealistic with the reasonable annual premiums. Good job.
