A life saver!
Our cat Miles has had several health issues over the past couple of years and Trupanion has really been a lifesaver. Whether it was his corneal ulcer or a tooth removal, Trupanion swiftly covered the expense -- so worth the monthly fee! Besides the excellent policy, my husband and I have been so impressed with the customer service. The Live Chat feature on their website is super easy to use and I always get my answers fast. Awesome pet insurance company, we highly recommend it.

Awesome coverage
My dog was bitten on the tongue by a rattlesnake on April 1/2. He was saved after two days in the emergency hospital, and the bill was slightly over $3,000.00. PetsBest had a check to me within about 10 days of receiving my paperwork. It amounted to almost $2400.00, 80% of the bill minus the $18.00 bio-hazzard fee and the $100 deductible. They are awesome!!!!! Whereas some companies only pay a set amount that they think it is worth, PetsBest pays based upon the actual bill. They were fast and paid as agreed. I wouldn't hesitate to insure with them continuously for any of my pets. I highly recommend PetsBest. And it is helpful to be quickly able to check the progress of the claim. Awesome company.

Great Wellness Benefits
Best wellness benefits out there especially for your first year when you are paying for lots of vaccines and neuter or spay. Spend $299 and get $400 in coverage just for wellness and it doesn't break it down by category as lots of other companies do. Instead of $15 for this shot and $30 for this medication, it is just $45 of reimbursement and you get to choose how you use it from vaccines, to monthly medications, to surgery. Very flexible and easy. Have not made a injury or illness claim yet but the refunds for wellness have been quick and painless. We did a lot of research and this is the best value out there.

Customer Service and Claim Response
After paying for Pet Insurance for the "just in case" event, the just in case finally became a reality. My Tucker had to have surgery on both hind legs for torn cruciate (the equivalent of ACL tear in humans.) The surgery is expensive and without the insurance it would have created financial difficulty for us. Embrace processed the claims quickly and even followed up with e-mails to check in on Tucker's recovery progress. If only my own insurance company was so efficient.

Pleasantly surprised
I have been meaning to write this for some time. I took out a policy for my dog, Sophie, last fall. She had been in good health from the time I adopted her. Sophie is now about 10-years old. Last November she suddenly developed a liver infection and required hospitalization, fluids, antibioics and other medications. The bill initially was close to $3000. I filed a claim and was relieved (and surprised)to receive a generous claims check even though I had paid only one premium. I hope Sophie stays well but have peace of mind knowing she is covered by Pet's Best Insurance.

Excellent Service - Full Recommendation
I have known of horror stories with respect to pet insurance. I have a close relative who had insurance with another company. The terms were far more complicated than Pets Best and excluded just about every incident known to man (or pet). He had an incident with his English Bulldog. The claim took several months to process and the reimbursement was insignificant to the overall claim and did not agree to the terms on the face of the policy. My great dane had a very serious incident. I received detailed emails explaining the stages of the review of my incident by Pets Best. The claim was processed and I was reimbursed in 2.5 full weeks (not just business days). The policies are fairly simple to understand and I recommend that you understand the exclusions prior to obtaining insurance from any provider, but Pets Best does fully comply in a timely, caring and professional manner to the provisions of its policies. Again, the policies do not require a degree in nuclear physics to gain an appropriate understanding of the terms. I recommend this company 100% for anyone trying to hedge against the expensive situations that unfortunately occur with animals, especially Great Danes!

A must have if you care for your pet
My dog is family and I brought him from India. He needed a great overhaul since he was with caretakers for a period of 8 months. The first thing I did was get him checked with a vet and then get some insurance. I wont say that I very happy with the cost limit included for the services but then I do get at least 60% of the overall amount I spend back and when the little guy is over 8 years he needs more constant care and maintenance. The processing time quite fast though and the customer care time to answer questions is also quick.

I wish MY health insurance was this good!
My dog, Daisy, was diagnosed with the start of a herniated disc in her back after her normal vet sent her to a specialist. The poor thing was in such pain, and the comfort I felt knowing she has Embrace took all of the normal stress that I used to feel with my other dog who didn't have insurance away. Just hearing the word "specialist" makes you cling to your purse a little tighter because you know it's gonna cost a fortune. Not only did Embrace reimburse my payment to the specialist, but also to her regular vet without a problem. It was directly deposited into my account within 24 hours of approval! It looks like we caught the problem before she needed surgery (She's mostly crated through the day, I carry her up & down stairs) but I know that even if she did need an operation, the cost would be the least of my stress thanks to Embrace.
