We love Embrace!!!
We've been with Embrace since 2009.Our little Doxie Zuzu wouldn't want any other pet insurance company (neither would her human-companions) helping her to remain healthy and happy.
Having a Vet you know, trust, and use for your pet's primary health needs is essential. Having a pet insurance company that truly understands this and sticks with you every step of the way is the next most important thing; Embrace does just that.
Luckilly for Zuzu, she hasn't had any relapses in her health since a benign mass was discovered in her spleen two years ago and needed to be surgically removed. Embrace, despite our being very new to their insurance, didn't hesitate to review her case and cover the costs at close to 90%. While we would have paid out the money to Zuzu's vet in a heartbeat (because we can't attach a price tag to our love for her), it was a couple thousand of dollars!!! Embrace made sure we could focus on Zuzu's well-being and recovery, not on our bills and finances. That was huge relief and very appreciated.
Today, we continue to get Zuzu her routine annual wellness check-ups and keep her up to date on heartworm testing and vaccinations. Embrace's wellness plan covers a maximum of 200$ annually per policy period for this type of health maintenance. That's a tremendous relief on our wallets, and we have the peace of mind that Zuzu is being taken care of as best as possible. If you're shopping around for first-time pet-health insurance or perhaps you're cons

Embrace is the best! They cover genetic conditions
Before bringing our Great Dane puppy home, I did extensive research on pet insurance knowing that I would be living with a pure-bred Giant breed that is prone to many genetic conditions. I chose Embrace as they cover genetic conditions and now that Scout is 7 1/2 months old, she has already had 2 illnesses that are attributed to her breed as well as other health conditions that come along with puppyhood. Embrace has been wonderful in processing the claims quickly, putting together pre-certifications for surgery (she has had 2 so far) in under 5 days and sending our reimbursements in a timely manner. When I have called Embrace, the people that I have spoken to are knowledgable, caring and extremely helpful in answering any questions that I have had.

One Happy Dalmatian Owner!
I have a 1 year old Dalmatian named Brooklyn. 1 year old exactly, her birthday is today! As you may know, Dalmatians have a ton of energy, and ours brings new meaning to that description.
We've had MANY emergency vet visits with Brooklyn. From a split open head at 3 months to two teeth being extracted because she collided with another dog and broke them, and several others instances, Trupanion has been there for us each and every time without question! These claims were each in the $100-$600 range.
The claims process is stupid simple and the one-page form can be filled out by any five year old. All we have to do is provide our vet with the form and they submit the claim for us. Within about two weeks we have a check for 90% of the costs (not including the actual visit fee, which isn't covered).
The one time I had to call Trupanion, when Brooklyn lost her ID tags, the customer service rep was one of the nicest reps I've dealt with ever.
Anyway, I'm sure you can see that I think Trupanion is the greatest. I only wish they were around when I had my last Dalmation!

Have been great to work with!
After debating for months and researching I found Trupanion to be one of the insurance companies that covered the most. I have two olde english bulldogs and in less than a year of having coverage they have paid almost 2k for claims. My small pup choked on a bone and had to be rushed to the emergency room and now my older pup has a partial cruciate ligament tear and over the 3 doctors we have been to they have covered what they state in the policy. The only downfall I see is the fact that they don't cover chiropractic and alternative care. Before we had answers as to our dogs leg issue our regular vet did laser treatment to reduce his swelling and it was not covered under the policy. it would be nice to have that as an endorsement even if it required additional premium. But, for the most part I have been so grateful for having them as my insurer for my pups!

Greatest Pet Insurance company EVER!
This is the most straightforward, know-what-to-expect company i have ever dealth with. the explanation of benefits is clear and easy to understand. Embrace could certainly teach the health insurance industry a thing or two (or three) about customer service!

Great help.
I received a phone call the other day from someone at ASPCA who informed me that since I'd paid my $100 deductible, I sould submit claims for the annual shots my little daschund gets, as well as any other tests. She made my day. I had about $160 in eligible claims that I wouldn't have considered submitting until I received her phone call. You guys rock! Linda RS

Pets Best Insurance is the BEST! I
I had VPI insurance and have switched to Pets Best. I feel this is one of the best decisions that I have made. Pets Best is exactly that THE BEST!!! I was very disappointed with VPI, they were not what they claimed to be in my experience. Their turn around time for claims is poor and reimbursement is not what was explained to me when I signed up. Pets Best Insurance turn around on claims is excellent, I was really surprised at how quickly they process the claims and after your deductible they pay a full 80%!!! I'm writing this because when I was looking for pet insurance it was overwhelming and when you speak with the representives of each company, I feel that they tell you what you want to hear and when it comes down to filing claims that is when you discover that you had better read the fine print and between the lines! We orginally went with VPI because thru employment they offered pet insurance and it was thru VPI. I definitely have to go to the HR and tell them they need to check into Pets Best! As in the name Pets Best, is exactly that the BEST!!! Each time I called and spoke with a representative they were very professional, courteous, very helpful, always went above and beyond. I cant say enough about this company. So take it from someone who has had the experience of dealing with other insurance companies, look no further than Pets Best, you will be more than satisfied with them!I have recommended Pets Best to many of my friends and they have now made th

Pet insurance works
This is my first claim with embrace pet insurance, I have had other expensive bills and decided to sign up for pet insurance as I do love my dog and would always get him treatment regardless of the cost. I have a labrador who likes to eat things he is not suppose to and I submitted my first claim and embrace paid just as the policy said it would. I did call a couple of times to check on my claim and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Embrace
