Excellent customer service from an ethical co.
Having done a huge amount of research with the state board of insurance and on line, I was pessimistic about this company being any different from the one that I tried about ten years ago with my previous dog, but I thought I would give it a try as it is a small investment to insure my two Pembroke Corgis. I do not deprive my pets of any care and treat them like you would a family member. My pets will have the best care available regardless of who pays, so I wrote the policy on both. Reasearch shows that as many as 50% of the dogs that live past ten years of age die of cancer. My prior dog was 15 and he in fact did die of cancer. Healthy Paws did everything possible to make their claim process simple hassle free. They exceeded my expectations in having a streamline claim process to dealing with the most caring and professional people to having the reimbursement processed within two weeks of submittal. Wowl, I cannot get my health insurance on me to do that. This coverage is a must have for those of us that want to mitigate some of our financial exposure in providing medical care for our pets.

Accident insurance
I'm happy with my pet's health insurance plan. It's the most basic plan, accident only. For the price, it is a great deal. The only thing that would make me happier would be to increase the limit amount per fee. For example, my vets exam fees are higher than what my insurance will cover, as are most vet charges (medications, treatments, etc. Since there is already a $100 deductible and insurance only covers 80% of vet bills (as a result of an accident) after the deductible is met, I feel they shouldn't set limits on charges.

Everyone owning a pet should invest in insurance.
We decided to enroll our dog, Gucci into the ASPCA pet insurance. He will be eight years old in September and is starting to have many issues, one of which is Diabetes. He receives insulin twice daily. Our only regret is that we didn't sign up sooner.

much needed assitance
i got insurance for 6 of my animals to make sure that i would have the ability to provide the most for them in case they got sick. when my coonhound was diagnosed with renal failure out of the blue it helped me be able to give her every chance i could to fight it. sadly she lost her fight, but i can sit here today knowing that, with the help of her insurance, there isn't anything i wasn't able to try.

No pet should be without it
I found my cat, Scruffy, wandering my neighborhood and adopted him. I have had cats all my life and know the cost trips to the emergency room can cost. Having pet insurance is that proverbial "ounce of prevention" and I did a good bit of research before deciding that the ASPCA plan was the most cost-effective for my needs.

Pet Insurance is good for new pets
I'm very happy to have help with the bills from a vet.The money I get back helps pay for food etc. for them.I'm a big pet lover and wish I would have had ins for some of my other pets who have now passed. If they get sick sometimes you are forces to make choices because of your wallet. With ASPCA ins., now I feel my pets can get the care they need without having to chose what I can aforded. Thanks ASPCA INS.for coming in good when needed.

Thanks ASPCA
Hi started purchasing Pet Insurance from ASPCA back in February. I have had my kitty Mario for 10 years and I'm not sure what made me want to do it now. But thank goodness!! Mario has thrown up her whole life and very recently it started getting so bad she would throw up after every meal. My poor baby was losing weight so I took her to the vet to figure out what was wrong. After tons of diagnostic tests and $2,000 later, she was diagnosed with feline IBD. I got about half of it back from ASPCA. It was a hassle getting the claims forms submitted because the fax number doesn't work there - finally I ended up getting them and e-mailing them in myself. It took over a month to get things resolved, but the customer service people were so nice and helpful and understanding!
Still hurt my pocket a little but was much less than if I hadn't gotten insurance! And my Mario thanks you!

Liars!
I would NEVER recommend this insurance company to any pet owner. In the time we had this insurance we submitted two claims and with both claims they gave us any extremely difficult time and paid out nothing. We piad over $58 a month for our precious pug to help with vet bills when they arose and it was a complete waste of money. Although when you initially sign up they promise you the world. None of it is true and I wish we never wasted our money on pet insurance because we were far better off paying out of pocket. Every claim we submitted from a tumor to a rash they found a way to deny the claim and it took months of phone calls, emails and vet letters trying to clarify and still no payout. This companhy is a huge rip off....
