We have used Healthy Paws for about a year and have been blown away by their excellent service. Their app makes is very easy to submit claims (it literally just takes seconds) and, most importantly, they pay out the claims. We only had our little kitten for three months before he sadly developed a terminal illness. We paid about $60 in premiums during that time, and Healthy Paws ended up reimbursing $6000 of hospital bills, no questions asked. They also sent a heartfelt condolence card. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

A little more complicated than it needs to be, but I sent in a slew of them together. Once I figured out your rules (no exams or consults fees) I figured it all out in a matter of minutes. Thank you!

i am disappointed that the claims didn't pay more. i also was surprised that the monthly rate went up just before I filed the first claim with no explanation or notice.

Our dog had an emergency stay in the hospital overnight and Trupanion covered their portion of the invoice with no problems.

Phone customer service is HORRIBLE. My first claim, for basic preventive care, took well over one month to process and pay. The second one, after initially being denied due to a request for more medical records, was ultimately denied due to a pre-existing condition. The only pre-existing condition my pet has ever had was demodex. My second claim was for a visit to the vet that determined he was experiencing allergies. Demodex and allergies are NOT the same condition. If this "insurance" is not even going to cover the cost of the vet visit, there is absolutely no point in paying $55 a month for it. I am extremely dissatisfied and have canceled my policy. I participate as a volunteer and foster with several local shelters in a very large city. I have been and will continue to let everyone I come into contact with know how horrible Pet's Best service is.

I'm very happy with my pet insurance! I love how user friendly the website is. It's supper easy to submit a claim! I've never had a problem getting reimbursed and they direct deposit the money in my account in just a few days after submitting the claim. My dog is prone to "issues" due to her breed and this insurance has more than paid for itself on several occasions. For instance, she had to have a surgery that would have cost me $4,000 but her insurance covered 90%! That was a life savor!! I do pay for the higher coverage but everything is covered 90%. Her monthly prescriptions alone cover the cost of insurance. I highly recommend this insurance, especially if you have a breed that is prone to having issues.
