My chihuahua puppy broke her metatarsal bones, fancy word for toes. I submitted the claim using the app. Easy and hassle free. Everything was done an about a week. From the proscessing the claim to reimbursement. They still continue to cover every bad age change every week. Even after my surgery reimbursement of $2500. And what really put the icing on the cake. I had a team member reach out to me personally and ask how my puppy was doing and how the surgery went.

Our dog randomly started throwing up blood one morning. We had a new baby in the house and had no idea if the dog had possibly gotten in to something. We took him to the vet. He was in and out of there getting IV fluids and meds for 3 days due to pancreatitis. The claim was incredibly easy to file. I did it from my phone. Payment showed up about 2 weeks after the first vet visit. Couldn't have been any easier. I was really impressed.

I had Trupanion for my two schnauzers. They find EVERY excuse NOT to pay. I had one claim for my dog because he was sent to the ER for an abnormal ultrasound finding that had nothing to do with the diarrhea he first presented to the vet for. I was sent to rule out an intestinal obstruction and tumors. They refused to pay because he's had diarrhea before!!!! I didn't ask them to pay for vet visit for diarrhea. I asked them to pay for abnormal ultrasound findings that had NOTHING to do with the diarrhea. They are as bad as any other pet insurance because they ALL do this. I am sorry I canceled it only because my other schnauzer just got diagnosed with a brain tumor although I am sure somehow Trupanion would have connected it to his epilepsy he had for years which had nothing to do with this brain tumor and would not have paid the thousands of dollars that have added to my heartbreak of this diagnosis.

My experience with Trupanion made it possible to concentrate only on getting my dog healthy and not worrying about how we were going to pay for it when he had a medical emergency and almost died.

I've had Embrace for Buddy's entire life (9+ years) and have been extremely satisfied with the coverage and their service. I would recommend to anyone getting a dog - especially a special breed like Buddy, Frenchie. They have been amazing to work with - claims are processed and reimbursed quickly with great communication. Thank you Embrace!
