An absolute pleasure to work with and so glad I purchased an insurance policy for my pup
My puppy was diagnosed with a serious condition that required a pricey surgery. Filing the claim was incredibly straight forward. Response times were remarkedly fast. I think the best part of my experience was my interactions with various customer service agents. I had placed calls on multiple occasions. Every agent that I spoke to was genuinely very pleasant and helpful. I spent almost no time on hold. I honeslty considered calling them back just to give them words of praise, as I have had a much different experience in the past dealing with other insurers! I would highly recommend a policy trough FIGO!

Great Insurance
We purchased pet insurance in case of large medical expenses (surgery/chemo/etc.). Fortunately, Charlie has not needed any major treatments, but unfortunately, he has required several tests that were not surgery-level expensive, but still expensive. The insurance helped a lot and made these less stressful. We are grateful to have the coverage and for Nationwide's excellent customer service.

A little disappointed
My experience with Nationwide has overall been very positive. My criticism largely is due to the surprise I encountered when my first large bill was rejected. I can clearly see the policy exclusions, but think Nationwide should use their
“Reach” to educate their insureds on things to watch out for so they can avoid these situations. My dog had what I felt was a significant bloody stool, so I promptly brought her to our vet for treatment. Little did I know the peace of mind I had walking in “thinking I had major medical” didn’t exist. A flyer/reminder from the company might have helped. The call to the vet line offered little satisfaction since they are unfamiliar with the policy coverage.

Its a Scam!
We had been obligated to add pet insurance when we picked up our 3 month old puppy. I will first state the do NOT cover any medication, and randomly subtract $80 from each claim that they will not cover. On top of not covering for many things. I have to constantly call every time they mess up on the claim and fight with them to fix it. They are not at all looking out for you or your pet. We have paid over $1000 to them and over another $1000 to my vet. And we have only had her for 10 months. STAY AWAY from trupanion. You will save money just paying out of pocket.

I would certainly recommend Nationwide to my fellow pet lovers.
Annie is doing okay. She still has the histiocytoma and we are hoping it will go away by itself. It is growing and may have to be surgically removed. We are thankful for your concern of our precious pet.

I have been very pleased with my pet insurance through the ASPCA.
I have been very happy with the ASPCA pet insurance. The app makes it extremely easy to submit and claim and the claim in processed within two weeks or less. If I have any concerns I can easily contact ASPCA and their friendly staff are always happy to assist me. I will definitely stick with this insurance.
