The Best Pet Insurance Company
I found out the hard way. My cat Scooter had lymphoma. I spend a lot of money trying to get rid of the cancer. 80% of the time, cats go into remission. My didn't. I spent almost $13,000 when all was said and done. VPI reimbursed me around $1,500. My cat Bunny broke his leg and had to have his eye removed. Embrace reimbursed 90% of the ACTUAL cost which was around $3000.

Very quick reimbursements!
I have appreciated the good customer service that I have received with Embrace Pet Insurance. Their Wellness plan has been excellent. I have been able to cover everything my new Coton de Tulear has needed to start her off healty and to keep her healthy. Pet insurance is a great thing to have so that your pet is covered and you always have the funds to take care of any health issues.

claims: paid as per terms
Lyra is the newest member of my family and adopting her was a no brained. However, being close to retirement, I was concerned about vet bills for her later years on a fixed income so I set about to try to find decent insurance and compared all that I could online. I settled on Trupanion partly due to the straightforward, easy to understand terms and partly due to the 90% coverage with choice of deductable. I never expected to have claims so soon, but Trupanion handled the claims in a professional and timely manner while keeping me in the loop at all times. The expected amount arrived within 2 weeks and I'm very pleased with the company so far. So much so that I'm now considering adopting another cat so she can have someone to grow up with. Sadly, I don't expect either my 21, 17, or 15 year old to be around for very long after I retire...

Everyone I have dealt with has been very nice and professional. The forms for submitting claims are simple and claims are acknowledge by email. They are true to their claims for reimbursement. Overall, I have had a very positive experience!

What you see is what you get-AND easy to deal with
Over the past year and a half my young "healthy" dog has had a series of issues for which he's needed thousands of dollars in veterinary care. Through several claims Embrace has been easy to deal with, responsive and the level of coverage did not change even though we maxed out the first year. As someone who works in the Animal Health industry I believe pet insurance is a must and I highly recommend Embrace!

Grateful for ASCPA Health Insurance for my dog
My dog was diagnosed with bone cancer early in Feb. Since it is a fast acting cancer I had to make quick decisions regarding her treatment. It was very helpful to me knowing that I had health insurance for her so while I had to consider the financial implications I knew that I had some protection for her. This allowed me to think more about the treatment than the cost. Once she had her surgery - she had to have her front right paw amputated - she had a difficult recovery at first. Many of her original expenses and extra expenses were covered. This was a great deal of help to me financially not to mention peace of mind. I was able to choose her treatment based upon what I thought was best for her. I'm happy to say that today 3 1/2 months later she is doing well, in good spirits and no sign of the cancer coming back. We hope things stay that way. I should also mention that I didn't purchase this insurance until she was almost 11 years old. I don't recommend that but I was surprised that I was able to get her coverage at that advanced age. My claims were processed quickly and any time I've spoken to a customer support person they have been very kind and helpful. I have recommended to all my friends who are pet owners that they should seriously consider purchasing pet insurance.

Excellent Service
WOW I have been in member services for over 30 years and your employees all receive the five diamond award for service. We adopted our dog as a rescue in October 2010. In April she had a cranial ligament tear from playing at the dog park. My first call was to Trupanion. Your forms were easy to complete, your service reps were easy to talk with and we had an immediate response by e-mail and by phone. It had only been eight days after her surgery when we received our 90% refund.

Thank God for Trupanion!
I typically do not take the time write reviews. However, I had to write one because of the awesome service I received at Trupanion. This is my first experience with having pet insurance, and all I have to say is I am SO glad I got it. Some friends just don't understand why I got pet insurance for my lil guy, but believe me - if you would do anything for your dog/cat like fork out all your savings to make them better when they are ill...trust me, get pet insurance. It is a peace of mind and worth it. The cost of vet services are so expensive. Unfortunately my lil guy has gotten pretty sick in the last couple months and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis with a probable ulcer. I had to go to the vet twice and both those visits were approx. $400. I was impressed with the processing of my claims and it wasa lot faster than I expected. Once you submit your claim, Trupanion e-mails and contacts you that they received it. They also send you another notification when the claim is under review. I received my check within 2 weeks. Things I do like: Trupanion keeps you updated along the way and they are clear on the break down of costs of what they cover and if you met your deductible. My only minor complaint is that I wish they would cover the consultation/examination/recheck fees as every visit to the vet is pretty costly and this alone ranges from $50 - 60. Otherwise Trupanion cover everything else - 90% of it which is GREAT. Overall I am very satisifed with my experience with Trupan
