Very pleased with Healthy Paws
I have been a pet owner for 27 years and never bought pet insurance. In May one of my dogs suddenly became ill and died after valiant (and expensive) effots to save her. I decided to buy pet insurance to help defray the costs of another like event. I read online reviews and discussed the topic with my vet and selected Healthy Paws. I opted to enroll my two young rescue dogs, one I had for less than a month. The coverage kicks in 15 days after enrollment. On day 16 one of my dogs became ill and required two trips to the ER within 24 hours. The cumulative total for both visits was right at $1000. I followed the very simple claims filing instructions, asked my vet to submit his full medical record (first claim) and sign the forms. I filed the claims and made a follow up call to the Customer Service group to verify they had what they needed. Within 9 days I received, via email, the explanation of benefits for both claims, paying every eligible dollar! I am a healthcare administrator and I couldn't be more impressed with the process or the customer service reps I dealt with over the phone.

Very Positive in the past 3 years
Easy to submit claims (fax) and quick reimbursement (usually receive reimbursement checks minus deductibles always arrive within 1 week or to 2 weeks after the claim form is submitted).
Example: One of our dogs was stunk by a bee when we were out of town. We found an pet emergency center and the claim went through without quickly. We got the reimbursement within a week.
Policy is straight forward and easy to understand. Their staffs are also extremely friendly.
Note: I don't have the routeine care coverage for both of my dogs.

Informative, helpful & excellent customer service.
After our Snoopy (yellow lab) passed away from cancer we decided that with our next pet we would purchase pet insurance. We did a great deal of cost comparing with different insurances and Embrace gave us the most coverage for our money. Our Vet.. (Cooke Vet Medical Center..Va. Bch. VA) had a brochure in their office detailing Embrace's policy. From the moment Marbles (yellow lab) arrived at 3 months old Embrace had given us excellent service when filing his claims. The customer service we receive via phone or e mail is outstanding. Embrace goes out of their way to explain benefits and claim coverage. The speed of reimbursemts with Embrace is the best. Not only is it fast but they let you know when you should be receiving it. What a tremendous comfort it is knowing that in today's trying economic times that there is a pet insurance company like Embrace that helps us with our pets needs. Thank you to everyone at Embrace for your outstanding customer service. It is greatly appreciated.

Great Customer Service
My 2 year old boxer was recently diagnosed with a bout of follicultis and I submitted vet bill to Embrace. They acknowledged receipt of my claim quickly, kept me updated and responded that a portion of the diagnosis would be covered and a check would be forthcoming. I never had to worry about where my claim stood!

Gives Me Peace of Mind
My vet bills in the past have been extremely high and I will always do what I need to in order to take the best care of my pets. This insurance is very reasonable and gives me peace of mind every time I walk into the vet's office. My first claim was processed within a few weeks and it was nice to get some relief from the high expense of veterinary treatment. I will always maintain pet insurance...it is completely worth it.

I love Pet's Best
Pet's Best made an extremely difficult time a little bit easier for me & my pet. My girl went blind due to a mass on her brain. She saw many specialists, required an MRI along with many other advanced tests and very specialized radiation treatment. Pet's Best paid 80% of all of the charges after my deductible and I always had a check in hand within 10 days of submitting my claim. They even paid for her cremation when we lost the battle with the mass. I cannot say enough good things about this insurance. All of my dogs & cats are covered with this plan. I only wished they offered coverage for my bird and two horses. I have referred many friend's.

Very pleased with customer service!
So far I'm very pleased with Embrace. Kodi was having issues with blood in stool. The vet decided to do a fecal to rule out parasites. After that Kodi had a barium test and a few x-rays to see if he had swallowed a foreign object. I was reimbursed the exact amount that I figured I would get. I was sent emails which kept me up to date on the status of my claims. My check is in the mail as I write this for a claim on made on 7/12/11.

Friendly and Speedy

Seems like a wise choice!
I am a skeptic and so I have waited to comment until all was said and done. Took a little while to understand the workings but in the end Embrace did what it said it would. They got it right and it looks like I did too!

A Good Choice
I chose Embrace because their coverage is based upon the cost of care (versus a set schedule of pre-determined amounts)and because they cover "alternative" care. I obtained my policy as soon as we brought our puppy home, never expecting to make a claim until he was a senior citizen. But at 5 months of age my Afghan puppy injured his knee in a manner that is usually treated with surgery and usually results in permanently diminished ability. I chose instead to treat him with homeopathy, physical therapy, chiropractic and accupuncture. Embrace covered all of these treatments without question or objection once we ironed out the kinks in getting the claims submitted. (I recommend email over fax submissions.) They have always kept me updated regarding the status of my claims and the checks arrive when scheduled. Best of all my now 15 month old boy is happy, healthy, energetic, active(!) and completely sound.
