This was my first experience with any pet insurance. I was advised by our breeder to purchase specifically Embrace. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Spring Spaniel I immediately purchased when we brought them home. Our Berner had got into trash while we were away on vacation and had a possible obstruction. She spent 24 hours in an emergency vet clinic with out fingers crossed surgery wasn't needed. We had numbers thrown at us from $1500 to $7000 which can be a bit overwhelming, but in the back of my head I thought well we have this insurance lets see how good it really is. Dakota thank goodness did not need surgery and was able to come home to us after 24 hours. I put the claim in without ANY issues. It took a few days and when I received the e-mail they literally gave me EVERYTHING down to the penny back that I could have possibly received based on my plan. This is such a piece of mind and something I will NEVER go without again. I have told all my friends and family who own pets or are thinking about getting one to sign up. It costs me a total of $80.00 for both a month and gives nothing but a piece of mind it is truly the best thing I have ever done.

We have had several pet insurance companies over the past five years and only Embrace has been the one to honestly try to get my claims paid. They work hard to see if there is a way to settle any and all claims quickly and efficiently. They honestly look for a way to settle all my claims, whereas other companies try to find a way not to pay a claim. And they do so without a lot of form filling and continuous demands of more information regarding any claim I had submitted. With Embrace, my vet faxes in the form and Embrace tries to get each and every section of the claim paid quickly. They are in constant e-mail contact with me advising me of the progress of the claim (which is what I really like).

I have had Trupanion for about a year not had to put in a claim and my boxer female just turned 3 yrs old. I got a notice in the mail that my premium will be going up 70% !! I was floored. I called them to ask why and they said due to Breed related factors and the area I was in they needed to adjust the price, and offered to raise my deductible to keep the same plan. BS!! In my opinion if you have to raise your rates 70% in one year because you mis calculated the cost. Someone is not doing their job or the company is on shaky grounds. BTW this is North Texas not Bedford NY Prices are not that high.

Pets Best has covered both my dogs and reimbursed exactly as the plan states. There has never been an issue or problem with a claim. I have had other pet insurance and nothing compares to Pets Best. I highly recommend them.

The Trupanion representative was easy to reach on the phone and was great in helping me obtain the required paperwork. Trupanion paid exactly what their advertising and contract promised and they provided a detailed explanation for each item in my claim. They processed the claim very quickly once I obtained and faxed them the necessary paperwork from my vet and the surgeon. There is a fairly high deductible and the policy doesn't cover preventive care but that's appropriate for a "major medical" policy. It provides exactly what I need to ensure that I won't have to deal with a huge medical bill for a major sickness or injury and the premiums are very reasonable compared to the cost of "full coverage" insurance I looked into. Overall, I'm very pleased with the policy and with the company.

Our quoted insurance premiums rose 200% within a year and a half. Insurance is purchased to provide cost certainty, however if your rate can increases three-fold ask yourself if you think its worth it. Truepanion indicated that the cost of pet healthcare rose substantially and our premiums rose accordingly. Trupanion could not provide any data to support this argument. Our orginal quote was for $43 month with no deductible. 18 months later it was $143...Their solution was to offer us a $1000 deductible. THIS IS NOT TERM INSURANCE WITH A FIXED PREMIUM. Premiums can rise at the convenience of Trupanion with no cap on increases.

My 5 year old dog Maggie had two fractured upper back teeth. The extractions had to occur under general anesthesia. This was very expensive for me. After Embrace reviewed my claim, the Explanation of Benefits showed that the only amount not covered was the 10 percent co-pay and the remaining balance Embrace fully covered. The medications, the lab tests, routine dental cleaning, peridontal treatment, xrays, the oral surgery and more. It was such a relief to receive the reimbursement because the final costs was pretty expensive for me. Having this really great pet insurance means that I don't have second thoughts about getting care for my dog. Embrace has also covered two previous smaller claims. The staff is helpful, concerned, friendly. They always make sure that I understand the process, re-assure me about when they will review the claim and how long to expect a response from them. One review took a little longer than usual, but Embrace was in contact with me to let me know this. I wasn't left hanging. I always highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance to anyone when I have the opportunity because I have been so satisfied, and my Maggie receives the care she needs.

Interaction with this company is the easiest, most thorough thing! My vet sends the claim form and chart notes to Healthy Paws, right away I get an email from HP saying they had received it, then in less than a week I get an email saying it's been processed and a check is on the way. I've only had two claims so far but I'm so impressed that it's this easy, and of our recent $300 bill we only paid about $50 and it would have been less but we were still meeting our deductible.
