ASPCA is necessary with todays expensive pet care

My toy poodle was attacked outside my back door by two of my neighbor's african hounds. Luckily, she was able to escape under my car to avoid fatal wounds. As it was I had to take her to the vet where she underwent an operation and was admitted to the pet hospital for a few days. Rather expensive, but ASPC paid 75% of my bill.

Nala's Paw

Our Sheppard mix had a nasty thorn in her paw. We couldn't get it out so the vet had to...sounds simple but with general anethisia the bill really ran up. Pet Insurance didn't cover the whole visit but it paid about half the bill. I was very happy with how quickly they paid the claim. I would recommend anyone with a pet get ASPCA Health Insurance!

Embrace is Great!

My german sheppard Nala has had a pretty tough go around. I have been an embrace policy holder since 2009 and in that time I have had 3 major surgeries for my Nala. She had bad elbow both covered by embrace and most recently a TTA surgery on her knee. Embrace made the process so easy. I submitted a pre-cert on 07/11/2011, surgery was performed on 07/28/2011 and my reimbursement check was issued on 08/01/2011. This speaks for itself. They are fast with processing and helpful throughout. I am very grateful for having embrace as my pet insurance company. Nala is doing great and thankfully because I have embrace I am not struggling to cover the cost of treatment,instead I am able to focus on her recovery. :) Thank you Embrace. Kim

Outstanding customer service with ASPCA in first w

I was with another BIG pet insurance company for years and dropped them for poor customer service. My Corgi Grace just having been diagnosed with meningitis and had huge bills. ASPCA paid them in timely fashion and paid the 80% as promised. What amazed me was they called to check on Grace? I never had that with last company! That is so rewarding! Keep up the excellent work!Grace and Bud in Charleston SC

Totally happy with claim status

My dog has hip fracture and needs consultation and x-ray etc. ASPCA has been prompt in settling all claims.

Great company, great service, no "small print"

I have had Embrace Insurance for 4 years. I have 2 Kerry Blues , one senior (10 yo) and one youngster (now 3). My older dog has developed many medical problems due to ageing, and the youngster is a spitfire who is a daredevil jumping fences, out windows, you name it. They both have sustained medical and surgical injuries so often I know the vet staff like family. Embrace Ins has been wonderful, reimbursing every claim in a timely manner, communicating every transaction, and if there was ever a question it was resolved immediatley with one phone call. No "I'll get back to you later".. great staff. I will continue to use Embrace and recommend it every time at the Vet Office (which is often!)

This is one of the best programs I've ever become!

I learned that my cat Brandon had congestive heart failure. Thankfully he is insured by Healthy Paws! The easy claims process and the personalized and prompt messages that keep me up to date are wonderful during this sad and stressful time. I have 7 cats protected and am so glad Brandon was when he became ill - everyone should have this peace of mind!

Can't imagine being without it!

Jada was flown to Indy from Portland Oregon. She weighed 14lbs, was given a guaranteed bill of health along with a 30 day trial enrollment to Trupanion Insurance. To ensure she arrived in good health from her travels, she was examined by our local veterinarian. She passed her wellness exam in flying colors. With the 30 trial enrollment coming to an end, I needed to make a decision whether to enroll or let the insurance lapse. I had pets all my life and could never justify the need for insurance. Besides Jada was a healthy dog with showmanship breeding. After much struggle, I decided to give the insurance a trial run. Little did I know that in a matter of a week after enrolling Jada in the Trupanion Insurance program that I would be needing it. One Sunday evening, Jada experienced some major nasal respiratory issues and struggled to breathe. This led to a late night emergency veterinary visit which resulted in some major unexpected expenses. A claim was filed with Trupanion and true to their advertisement, a reimbursement was issued. Another incident occurred, when Jada was recently scheduled to be spayed. She had an extreme allergic reaction to the “twilight” drug used to relax animals prior to surgery. This resulted in elevated heart rate and required an animal cardiologist and continual monitoring. Once again a claim was filed with Trupanion and a reimbursement was issued. The good news to this story is that Jada is doing fine now. She weighs in at 49lbs.
