Happy to have ASCPA Pet Insurance

We decided to get pet insurance for our yorkie about the time both our cats got ill and had hundreds of dollars in vet bills for tests, prescriptions, etc. Then the yorkie fell ill with leg lameness and i was so happy to have had the insurance. It is great peace of mind to know that if she gets ill again we don't have to worry about the cost of going to the vet. Highly recommend pet insurance!

Outstanding!

I decided to invest in pet insurance with my new pup after spending a lot of money on my pets in their elder years. I did it solely as a preventative measure for the future, not anticipating I would need to call on it when Dakota was only 1.5 years old. Dakota tore both her ACLs and needed TPLO (knee surgery) for both. The operation for each knee was to be over $3500. My first thought was honestly, "ok, good, I have insurance for her, but I am sure I am going to get screwed somehow with trying to claim both surgeries." The thought based on how difficult it has been with Human insurance, why would pet be any different? Trupanion blew my perception out of the water. Not only did they cover 90% of both surgeries, they made it incredibly easy to make the claim and I received consistent communication from them via email as to where my claim was in the process. And all wrapped up within 2 weeks (including check in hand). Plus, any time I did talk to a representative, they were beyond friendly and helpful. I have been recommending them to friends ever since (plus my vet)... She's a new dog to come (still healing) and set to be healthier than before the surgery. And I am not paying off my credit cards for the next couple years!

We love Embrace!

We have had Embrace pet insurance for just a few months and I have to say I am so impressed with their personal touch. I can email them and they get right back to me, I receive personal emails about claims or follow-up. I've had one initial claim for my border collie lab mix ortho exam and it was processed quickly and efficiently. I appreciate their caring nature, a complete opposite from the the Three letter insurance company we had before! Thank you to all the Embracers, we look foward to a long relationship. I have recommneded Embrace to all my family and friends. Kathy

Best Pet Insurance Available

We have two Saint Bernard puppies. I knew from owning a Saint Bernard previously that the medical bills can add up quickly due to their size. The larger the dog, the larger the medical expense. These pups are almost 6 months old and both have had to have surgery for cherry eye. One of the pups spent a night at the emergency vet due to an allergic reation. We chose Embrace because they pay based on the amount the vet actually charges, not an "approved amount". The customer service has been excellent and we normally have a reimbursement check with in two weeks. I have recommended Embrace to many people from friends to people in the waiting room at the vet office.

Amazing so far

Just purchased coverage, then two weeks later spent $550.00 getting my 10 month old spayed, microchipped and heart worm check with 6 month RX. Put in the claim and every time I received an e-mail from them I expected it to tell me what information I was missing, expecting them to tell me that I did not quite yet qualify for the wellness etc. I kept holding my breath, thinking that I was going to find out that this Insurance thing was stupid. Instead, I did keep getting e-mails, but only to tell me that they had received the claim and that all was being processed. Today I got an e-mail saying that the check, for the full amount of allotted refund of $400.00 was in the mail.. I am amazed. So far I am 100% pleased.

excellent pet insurance

My dog Sophie was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on her paw and I was told surgery and radiation(22 sessions) would be about $12,000.00. With pets best I am covered up to $7,000.00. I have been very happy with how fast they have reimbursed me for my expenses and also how kind they have been whenever I talked to them on the phone. I have recommended them to everyone I know who has a pet. They have been so helpful...better than my personal health insurance!

We have had a satisfactory experience with our fim

Our 8 year old Australian Terrier suffered a torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament which our regular vet suggested that we should take the dog to an orthopedic specialist. Dr Sams is the only Board certified orthopod in our area. Although this probably cost more, the surgery went well and so far the recovery is progressing smoothly. Embrace Pet Insurance asked us to supply comprehensive documentation which the 2 vets were happy to provide. Once Embrace received this information our claim was handled promptly and entirely to our satisfaction.

50% Coverage for 100% Satisfaction

My cat pepper developed crystals in his urinary tract this past April 2011, which resulted in his inablitity to use his litter box and form blood in his urine. We took him to his veternarian who diagnosed the condition and then proceeded to treat him. Right away the first set of charges we were charded was i/a/o 2,221.06, and then we had to bring him back for further tests which amounted to 1,201.50 bringing our total costs to 3,422.56. Fortunately, pepper made a full recovery from his illness and is back to all his crazy antics. I submitted my claim to ASPCA and received a check i/a/o 1,739.58 under his insurance coverage. We were so grateful to have ASPCA Pet Insurance which helped pay for most of the vet bills. There was some delay in the claim process that required me having to make several calls and resubmissions of all my documentation, however the overall experience was great. The representatives on the phone were very courteious and professional. Being the first time that I had to use my insurance coverage for pepper I would say "50% Coverage for 100% Satisfaction."
