Better than Human Insurance.
I have two dogs that I have been able to keep with us due to Pet's best Insurance. As a cancer survivor funds are tight and I did not want to sacrafice my pet's care and purchased a Pet's Best Insurance Policy. The best decision I made to give me piece of mind. I know they can be properly cared for. Recently Nekah my oldest had a head injury and the surgery was more than I could pay but Pet's Best Insurance paid the cost and extreamely fast. I am very happy. Thank you Pet's Best.

Don't be in any hurry
I am a little conflicted with this insurance company. I agree with a lot of the other reviews on a couple of points. They do not really follow up. I had a claim pending and I called ASPCA and they said they were needing more info from the vet. I called the vet and they told me that they had sent all the required info in, and that they have not received any phone calls asking for anything....bottom line, you have to do all the work to make sure your claim is being handled.Secondly, I agree with the pre-existing issue. I think they are way to strict in regard to this, and like the other review says, check the fine print! Other than that, they are a little slow in getting me my money. I have a boxer with cancer and he has to go every week for chemo, so my bills are really piling up. It would be nice if they could work a little harder, and faster in the reimbursement phase. I do think that having insurance is the way to go, and in the end, ASPCA is probably one of the best. I am glad I have it, and would recommend it.

unfortunate...
I have been happy with Trupanion in the past. I have had them as an insurance provider for my boxer for about 14 months now. Unfortunately, I got an email today saying that my premium is now going to be raised 120%. This seems outrageous to me seeing as I have been carrying their most expensive insurance at almost $55.00 a month. My premium will be almost $120.00 a month. Excessive. I feel like it is some kind of scam.

Happy that I have this insurance and recommend it.
When I adopted an 8 year old dog earlier this year, my daughter advised me of ASPCA insurance that she had on her new cat. After I compared rates and other plans I purchased this insurance which already has saved me hundreds of dollars. I had unexpected medical claims for my dog which ASPCA handled in a timely and efficient manner. My experience has been positive with my coverage and I will renew this insurance and recommend it to others. I can sleep well knowing that if any unexpected issue happens to my pet I can afford to take care of major issues.

Don't let your pets go without insurance!
I was totally beyond words the day "my friend called me on vacation to say, I have to know should I have Tittles put down??????????" She had inadvertenly backed over her while watching them that day and I Yelled back....NO! So I called a Vet I didn't even know to tell them to operate and try to save her life. Short story They did operate and amazingly enough she survived. Thank you for your insurance.

Helpful
ASPCA helps to offset the high costs of veterinary care for our dog who happens to be pretty healthy. But the costs themselves are so high, the exclusions so big and important, and the reimbursements so modest, that it is of only limited helpfulness. I think a lot of people go without veterinary care for their pets because they just can't afford the costs.

Ripoff - Raised Monthly Premiums 70% After 1 Year
This company raised my monthly premiums by 70% after the first year despite the fact that my dogs had not been sick, injured or diagnosed with any disease. They got perfect bills of health from vet check ups, were current on vaccinations and were not overweight.
When I called to ask why the monthly premium went up 70%, they told me that it was adjusted based on the rising cost of treating pets in my area. Nothing should have an annual inflation increase of 70%. This Company likely quotes low rates for the first year, only to raise them once they get you to sign up. If they are not straight foward on rates when initially signing me up, then I don't trust them when I actually have a claim.
When calling to cancel, the service rep told me that a special representative needed to talk to me before processing my cancelation, but that person was not available. I don't know why the service rep I had a 10 minute conversation with could not process my cancellation. I am now waiting for the call back.
