Outstanding service!
I recently went through a very difficult time with my young Chocolate Lab, Bella, who has been diagnosed with IBD. She had to have x-rays, ultrasound and exploratory surgery. I was worried about what would happen if the insurance would cover these expenses. No need to worry! They quickly processed the claim and reimbursed me for the expenses! I am happy to recommend Embrace Pet Insurance to all pet owners. It is such a small price to pay for peace of mind!

Wellness Programs Rock
I purchased both the Dental and Wellness Programs - what I refer to as "riders" of my accident insurance. The dental portion is self-explanatory; the wellness covers the special diet food that my girl needs for her allergies, as well as anal gland expression and/or ear problems. Since she suffers from both in association with her allergies, I save slightly over $100. on each program per year. I can add that $200. (both programs) towards her other insurance concerns. I received the payment within a few weeks and the customer service was excellent. I only wish a dog's age would not be a consideration for illness insurance if they receive a clean bill of health by a certified veteranarian.

Amazing Customer Service!
After losing my dear sweet Chenu our claims for her most recent Vet visits had been denied by the Pet Coverage. After calling Trupanion Customer Service initially the rep gave us the information that a re-consideration was absolutely possible. That alone was good news! They told us what type of records to get, where to send them and that we would be advised. I worked directly with Trupanion to have the xrays, scans and records sent to a specific Rep for review. Once they received the records the notified me right away. After an initial review of the records the rep determined a more detailed review should be done by one of their Vet's to truly provide us with the best possible use of our benefits. Immediately following the Vet review we were notified and provided a report of Trupanion's expert findings which resulted in reversal of the claim and payment being issued. Trupanion reps were kind, considerate, helpful and more than anything so understanding of how much Chenu meant to us, they were sympathetic and caring. Amazing Customer Service all around!!

Wonderful!
My American Staffordshire Terrier 7 was diagnosed with a torn ACL. I have had dogs since I was young and never had this type of problem. I bought the insurance for the what if. I never thought I would have to use it only after 2 months of coverage. My dog has been really healthy until this. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have Healthy Paws Insurance. My dog is like my child. I want to be able to give her the best available health care. The claims have been handled so fast. There is also follow up. I never receive this type of treatment from my own health insurance company. Hats off to Healthy Paws. I can't thank them enough.

Disappointed
My dog was sick for days before a diagnosis of Whipworm. This should not be under wellness but in the core policy. I debated getting insurance for my pug because I had insurance with another insurance company once before for another dog and nothing was ever covered. This was a $600 + bill and nothing was even applied to the deductible. I heard such good things about this insurance and my premium is not cheap.

Customer Friendly and Hassle Free
I have used two insurance companies in the past and the difference was like night and day. Signing up for pet insurance was easy with Healthy Paws. They did not ask for every record out there in advance. I did not have to do any leg work. The forms are pre-filled and they pulled the records when they needed them. They were very clear about what they covered and why. As soon as I submitted a claim they called and asked about my pets wellbeing. As soon as they processed the claim they called me and gave me an explanation of the decision. Within two weeks I had the check in hand. Their customer service is excellent.

Good Pet Insurance
Claim was handled promptly and effeciently. I hope in the future you will allow some discounts or coverage for wellness checkups as that encourages pet owners to take their pet once or twice a year for check up, which is important. I had an illness for my cat this year and also her wellness checkup. Because I went for the illness and submitted a claim, I got a check for the wellness checkup. Otherwise my pet is healthy and the wellness checkup have never been covered. I hope you can correct this. Thanks so much.

A MILLION star rating for Healthy Paws!
I can't begin to express the exceptional level of service, satisfaction and peace of mind that Healthy Paws has given us!
We signed up with Healthy Paws immediately after taking in our 8 week old French Bulldog puppy. We honestly did it as a precautionary measure for the long term, never expecting the need to use it until he was much older when the symptoms of old age would start to show. Boy were we wrong!
All was going well until this past July, when our 10 month old puppy began incessantly scratching his ears to the point of bleeding and hair loss. We took him to the vet only to discover that he had an ear infection. After an exam, ear cleaning, prescription ear drops and cleaner, we walked out with a $244.82 vet bill.
Since this was our first claim, it took a little longer to process because we had to wait for the vet to submit our puppy's health records to Healthy Paws. The level of communication from Healthy Paws during the wait period was better than excellent, informing us as soon as they had received the records. Shortly after, we were contacted again letting us know that the claim had been processed, and we received a check in the mail three days later reflecting a 90% reimbursement after our minimal yearly deductible.
The REALLY amazing thing was that upon reviewing our puppy's records, they had spotted a medicated shampoo prescribed by our vet that we had purchased back in May when we took him in for neutering. The were happy to inform us that we coul

Necessity for all pet owners!
We've had pet insurance for both of our dogs since they were puppies. We've tried several different companies, and we've honestly been happy with most of them. We're currently with ASPCA because their plans best met our budget at this time. We've used them for wellness coverage for the last few years (the level 3 plan), as neither dog has needed much more. I do have to say that our vet is one of the less expensive options in our area, yet the insurance company hardly ever covers their expenses completely, citing them as being "beyond reasonable costs for the area." This is rather frustrating at times, as we then have to pay beyond our deductible and the 20% coinsurance. I can't compare the coverage of other insurance plans in our area, as we've only had ASPCA since moving here three years ago. Recently, one of our dogs got extremely sick and needed lots of expensive bloodwork and tests. ASPCA pet insurance covered much of it (minus the deductible, the coinsurance, and the vet charges they deemed unreasonable), which was extremely helpful to us. The claim submission process is relatively quick and easy, and we had our reimbursement within 2-3 weeks. We were pleased with the process, and we feel it is worth it to have pet insurance for peace of mind in these kinds of situations.
