We have had our english bulldog since she was 8 weeks old. The breeder gave us a free 1 month policy for her so we looked into keeping it. Knowing english bulldogs can have a lot of healt problems, we continued with this policy. They have always paid out claims and paid them fast. And at 90%! Way better then a schedule of benefits. However, a few months ago, we received notice that the rate was going up. In order to keep the same rate, we needed to raise our deductible to $500. We shopped around and found what we thought was a great plan at a better price. Turned out to be a bad plan at a good price. So we kept our policy with Trupanion!

I have had my boy Bocce for two years. I have had other pets before, but have never had pet insurance. When I purchased the insurance, I had hoped that I would never have to use it, just a way to have peace of mind. However, Bocce has had numerous medical issues related to a defficient immune system. The latest issue is inflammatory bowel disease. Bocce is a large bullmastiff, so his medical bills tend to be higher than a small dog. Each time I file a claim, I am hesitant because I don't think it will be covered. I have never been disappointed. I am mindful of what I turn in, and much of the expense I incurr on my own. I always think "they are going to turn me away." The people at ASPCA truly care about pets! This coverage has allowed me to keep my pet, and to keep him healthy. He is my family, and here at ASPCA, he is treated that way. I don't even want to think about how I would have been able to provide my boy the care he needs without you. THANK YOU ASPCA!

I have had pet insurance before, but decided to try Pets Best. They customer service was excellent, they walked me over all the steps on the phone and even emailed me my claim form with most of the info filled out. I adopted a Standard Poodle from a shelter, and I have had to use the insurance to cover a thyroid issue and an infection issue, both costly and the insurance helped me immensely. I would recommend Pets Best to a friend!

We only have been enrolled in the plan for a few months when Molly blew out her right rear knee. Knee surgery and our claim was paid promptly following their review of the claim. I am very pleased. Thank

Healthy Paws has been amazing from the beginning! We took out insurance last fall, and in January our dog Mika suffered knee injury. We met most of our deductible in one visit to the vet. The paperwork has been minimal, and since meeting our deductible we are reimbursed at 90% (the level we chose )of the actual invoice from the vet--this includes physical therapy, Rx drugs and supplements! Once the claim is submitted by the vet I get an email to let me know it is being processed, another to tell me it is complete and a check is on the way. I get my reimbursement in just a few days. And that is just the money part--These people actually take a personal interest in what is going on with your pet and their organization makes significant contributions to animal welfare and rescue groups! I would recommend these people to anyone!! The coverage is affordable and comprehensive. I did a lot of research before I chose a plan and I am delighted with my choice.

Healthy Paws is the most professional company I delt with this year. I called every single pet insurance and really did my homework compairing rates, servcies and benifits. I also read the reviews. I was a bit concerned that the reviewes were too positive and now I am writing a glowing review just becouse this company is amazing!Our dog Maggie had to have surgery on both of her knees (both ASLs are 90% torn similar to a human ski injury). Healthy paws covered both surgeries, x rays, meds, vistis, etc 90% of all costs exactly as they advertise and no funny busienss with paper work. We scanned the receipts and received reimursment checks within few days. The folks at Healthy paws really care about animals and pet parents, they are knowlegeble, kind and professional. If you want the best pet insurance for your dog or a cat Healthy paws is the best choice with lowest premium and best benifit coverage. This is a pet version of royal PPO! My 3yr Old, Olde English Bull Dogge love to run the fence line with the nebours Dobberman in doing so he ran so hard he tore his ACL. Almost $3000 after all was said and done. I am so happy i had pet insurance or I would still be making credit card payments. Trupanion came through in about a week and paid the 90% my policy calls for.I was actualy surprised how fast they paid,and all it took was faxing a simple form my vet filled out for me. the saving from this one incedent will pay his pet insurane for almost the next 5 years.
