Embrace HORRIBLE doesnt pay claims on time
I've spent $100 a month for embrace pet insurance for my 2 dogs. Both occasions of submitting claims (Small claims) that were less than $150 each... they have made more excuses in not paying them on time. I had emails saying 10 business days, then i'd call back, be told on Friday, then i'd call back a week later to be told they had a new computer system. I had more excuses, and horrible customer service. They swear they follow up with you but say they "Dont leave voicemails" when i had no missed calls. Finally after I threaten to leave and go to someone else, they shoot me a termination letter out of my coverage effective immediately and pay my claim. I AM HIGHLY UPSET and will contact an attorney. Its a fly by night, dont trust them. These reviews are probably ppl who work for them.

Very Pleased with Embrace
I have worked in the claims industry for years am amazed how pleased I am with the service of Embrace! I researched numerous companies and they have the best coverage available, in my opinion. Their Claims Representatives are professional and courteous and my claims have been handled timely and correctly. There have been just a couple times they have been a bit behind in their handling, but no worries, they notified me! I remain cautiously optimistic I will continue to feel the same about the Company in the future. I have recommended Embrace to my Veterinarian's office. Just remember to keep a Claim Form in your glove compartment (it just seems I never remember to print one when I need it!)....

Do Not Wait: Protection You Can Count On
I am assured that my two kitties will receive the medical attention they need, when they need it, because I have ASPCA Pet Insurance. I maintain peace of mind knowing this.
ASPCA provides a full range of benefits, and I recommend ASPCA insurance to everyone! Moreover, claims are handled fairly, with quick payment.

A Very Satisfied Customer
I shopped around quite a bit before choosing Embrace. I chosed them because of their reimbursement for alternative care, their acceptance of pets with pre-existing conditions, and the reviews I read. I'm glad I found and went with this company. They are very efficient in processing claims. One of my cats was just injured in a car wreck and required emergency care and ortho surgery. All care totaled something like $3000. Two weeks after I submitted my claims, Embrace directly deposited the 80% reimbursement into my checking account. The whole process was really easy, with hardly any paperwork. What a relief!

If you love your pet, Healthy Paws is a must.
Junior is our 12 year old Jack Russell mix baby. To say that we love her with all of our hearts would be an understatement. We purchased Healthy Paws pet insurance in August of 2010. In February of 2011 she was diagnosed with diabetes and Cushings Disease, this is a long story so bear with me, Healthy Paws covered it. Three months later Junior went blind from cateracts. Since we couldn't stand to see baby suffer we elected to have surgery. The cateracts were a preexisting condition and so it was not covered. As junior recovered from her surgery she developed glaucoma in her left eye, and after a month of numerous doctor visits and very expensive medications, her eye had to be removed. Healthy Paws covered these expenses without flinching. Junior is doing very well these days. She still has to visit the doctor (Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine) on a regular basis to keep her diseases managed. This is very expensive and without Healthy Paws we could not afford it. Her monthly prescriptions alone more than justify the monthly insurance premiums. I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone who loves their pet. They have been a life saver and without them I'm afraid we wouldn't have our baby with us today.

Thank you for your great service.
My young cat suddenly became ill with overwhelming veterinary bills. Thankfully, having Embrace Pet Insurance reduced the stress of the situation by providing for a majority of the cost. This insurance has proven itself to be a huge benefit as a pet owner.

disappointing
I am disappointed with Petshealth for seveal reasons:1. While my policy covers 80% of reasonable and customary expenses, I wind up with roughly 50% reimbusements. Your "reasonable and customary" values are not representative of fees in the NYC area.
2. Your policy of classifying any chronic disorder as a pre-existing illness when a new policy year begins is not humane! You consider pets to be property; policy holders consider them to be family. When you finally offered coverage for illnesses that begin in a previous policy year, my dog was excluded because of her age.

fair and square
Our two North African mixed breed dogs and our three Tunisian very mixed breed cats accompanied us to California where we wisely signed up for ASPCA after looking at choices. Now we are left with Baby and Tiger, who like their "care-givers" (us) have become elderly, creaky and cranky. Baby was recently hospitalized for a severe eye infection, and was found to have abscessed teeth requiring removal, and several other less serious ailments. Confused by the reimbursement procedures, I was able to get advice from ASPCA by telephone and found their explanations precise & fair.

Healthy Paws is the Best Pet Insurance
We researched various companies for a long time and were reluctant to spend $$$ on pet insurance when most companies have all sorts of esoteric rules and spending caps and such. We skeptically enrolled - but Healthy Paws has delivered every single time we needed it so far. We only enrolled our Shepherd/Lab mix girl who is now 9 yrs old in January 2011. They have paid multiple claims for surgeries and biopsies that were totally unexpected very promptly and with an explanation of what is and isn't covered. The latest claim was over $3000 and it was paid! This isn't a gimmick, it really is great coverage. Their customer service is top notch and they let you know up front what is preexisting and what isn't (this is important esp in an older dog and important to find out) but anything not preexisting has been covered to the full extent that we elected (90% w/$250 deductible). I wish we had heard of Healthy Paws when our girl was a youngster! Thank you!

Dis -satified
The vet had diagnosed my dog with a cristalized mass located below his right eye that turned out to be a localized cancer,I had purchased the insurance a year ago,my claim was denied because it was determined by the insurance to be a pre existing condition, and because I did not follow up on the exam in the alloted time, it was denied, even though I had submitted the exam stating a non pre existing condition from the vet at time of injury,I am venting my anger because Embrace insurance claims to be a caring insurance only when it puts money in there pockets and not the wellfare of the clients pets,This need not be posted because I will be blogging my review at other sites
