So Far, Really Good!
We just got a rescue puppy and we selected Embrace as our pet insurance company. We also signed up for the Wellness plan. The response and customer service has been impeccable. The representatives are so helpful and fast. We submitted some claims under the Wellness plan and were promptly reimbursed. The other claim for a minor ailment was subtracted from our deductible. After thoroughly researching the options, we chose Embrace and we have no doubt that we made the right decision!

Trupanion saved my dogs life!
I couldn't sleep one night and decided to research on Pet Insurance co. Because I already worked for a vet, I knew of a couple of companies I DEFINITELY didn't want. I decided on Trupanion. About 3 days outside of our waiting period our Lab, Lexi, blew her right knee. Vet said she needed a TPLO and the cost was about $2,700. We contacted Trupanion and we decided to submit a pre-approval. Much to our relief it was approved and covered!!
One year later, she had blown her other knee and needed surgery for it. Again, Trupanion pre-approved it. We went in on a Friday morning and before I even got home from dropping her off, my vet called to say her bloodwork came back abnormal, in fact, she seemed to be in liver failure! (Which surprised all of us as she is completely asymptomatic!) My vet consulted with a specialist and it was decided on Monday afternoon that she would need a liver biopsy and ultrasound immediatley.
The following morning, Lexi and I hauled ourselves out to San Diego from Vegas and met with the specialist. After meeting with the specialist and being presented with an estimate of $4,000 I immediately called Trupanion and asked if there was anyway we could do a pre-approval in about 2 hours. My representatives were Anna and Gina, not only did they keep me up to date as it was being handled, but they truely seemed concerned about her health. So between the Specialty Hospital and Trupanion I had my pre-approval!!! I picked her up the next day, paying with Ca

By Far One of the Best Investments!!
Just last month our 9 month Pitbull puppy Cali had a scare when she somehow got ahold of some really strong glue and swallowed some of it. A week later she had stopped eating and going to the bathroom. So finally on our second visit to the vet with her they told us the next steps to figure out what was wrong - x-rays, blood work, maybe surgery - and proceeded to tell us the costs associated with these services. Our dogs and cat are family, and for family there are no limits. We would have done anything for our baby girl at that point. We wanted our puppy well again. We agreed to have x-rays done...which revealed a full tummy on a dog that hadn't eaten in almost a full week. This brought us to the inevitable surgical procedure that would allow the veterinarian to remove a softball-sized ball of this glue from Cali's stomach. But before this even took place there was the discussion of how we would pay for this costly procedure.Fortunately I had signed up both of our dogs for insurance back in May of this year and the vet's office was more than helpful in helping us fill out the insurance claim form. I must say that the little amount of money we have spent since May on the monthly premiums for our dogs ($10 for each) is nothing compared to the relief I felt when I opened my email this past Saturday (about 2 weeks after it all happened) to see that the claim was completed and even more so when I read the Explanation of Benefits document in the Member Center and found out the am

NOT a One Hit Wonder!
EMBRACE has consistently without fail or delay, resolved claims expediently, courteously, and fairly. I continue to be amazed and GRATEFUL for each claim reimbursement that we receive. Most recently my elderly dog Buddy tore his cruciate ligament with an invoice of $4694.14 less our 10% co-pay--we received a REFUND of $4,224.73. I hate to think about all the poor dogs who would have to lose their legs, or be put to sleep because their owners couldn't afford this life-saving surgery. I tell my friends that INSURANCE IS ESSENTIAL if you love your animals and worry about the financial responsibilities.I love EMBRACE.

Thank Goodness for Embrase!
Our Yellow Lab Abby (age 6), has been dealing with chronic anal gland issues for about 18 months now, and thank goodness Embrace is there. We do a lot of traveling, and Abby enjoys coming along with us as well (after all... she is part of the family). Since we never know what could happen along the way, we wanted to make sure that we had some insurance coverage for Abby as well (just for those "Emergency" situations). We are planning a big trip for next year, and want to make sure that Abby is physically ready for that trip as well. We had to return home early on our last outing, as Abby's anal glands became infected once again, and we had to make a trip to an emergency vet on a Sunday. Embrace made that experience a lot easier to take, as we knew that they had Abby's best interest in mind as well. Thankfully, all the emergency vet bills were handled in a timely manner, and we received a reimbursement check within the same month of the Emergency Vet service. Thank you!

Worth every penny and Caring Staff
Our 6 month old puppy had to have a respiratory/airway surgery prior to being neutered. Embrace was so easy to work with. We were able to have enough time before surgery to obtain a pre-authorization and the claim process was seamless. Embrace takes care of contacting the vet to obtain records, one less thing for the doggy parent to take care of.
The reimbursement rate is great! The staff is wonderful both on the phone and via email. They truly care about your pet as well as processing the claim quickly and effiently.
Worth every penny...especially for such a special breed as a bulldog!

Very helpful
We just added one of our dogs to this policy about a month ago. We found a lump on our dog and had it removed. Our veterinarian recommended sending it off. Turns out it was a mast cell tumor grade II. Pets Best paid the bill minus the deductible. Our dogs our our kids we want to be able to provide the best care possible and pets bests helps us to do this financially.

0/10 Isn't an option!
I had a policy with my english bulldog puppy. The breeder offered a tril which waived all waiting periods. I picked the most expensive policy, Secure4 and made some claims in the first month which were clearly stated as covered in the Secure4 policy details. They denied my claims saying that my policy was not in effect, and then I found out they did not setup my policy correctly. I had to call and e-mail SEVERAL times to address the issue, and after 4 months, they finally reviewed and attempted to correct the issue. They promised customer service credits which I never saw, and after the second assessment denied a few claims AGAIN wrongfully. I have already switched to Trupanion they have much better claims process, a sliding (non-changing) deductible, and they guarantee 90% coverage where PetSecure reserves the right to randomly reduce coverage to 50%.
