Not as friendly
Kelvie did not seem as friendly and congenial as most of your representatives. Nevertheless, she was able to efficiently and knowledgeably care for my request.

Very pleased
Originally I was leery about pet insurance, but after being “burned” from not having it with my last furry family member, I thought I would give it a try. I have to admit I’m a happy Embrace customer and I have had no problem with any of my claims to date. Embrace does what they say they will do. I give all my friends and family the same advice, INSURE YOUR PET ASAP!

Hassle free
I'm very happy with the service of ASPCA. First of all, customer service has always been very patient and helpful, when I've needed help with claims.
Claims are processed in a timely matter.

Would not cover French Bulldog George's surgery.
They would not cover back surgery for my French Bulldog, because he had neck spasms 4 months prior to the incident. Even after his surgeon that did his back surgery, and the vet that treated him for the neck spasms sent in documentation that said the neck issue had nothing to do with the back issue. What else can a person do when they say no, they won't cover the expense? Looking into legal action?

ASPCA gave us a fantastic experience in a time of need
My dog, Wolfgang, had a disc rupture in his spine last year. Days after the first vet visit and initial treatment, things rapidly deteriorated. He was now paralyzed in his rear legs and we were instructed to take him to a facility that could perform emergency IVDD surgery to release the pressure on his spine. This was my puppy-- he'd been there with me through college, my wedding, and everything in between-- and now I was faced with a decision I'd never thought I'd have to make. Do you go ahead and perform a surgery that costs far more than you can afford? Or are you going to lose your best friend tonight? We had pet insurance on him (very fortunately!) but even then, what if this doesn't pan out? What if he doesn't pull through and we're stuck with a huge bill? We'd never used our pet insurance before, so we weren't exactly sure what to expect, but we rolled the dice, not knowing that ASPCA was stacking the odds in our favor the whole time. Wolfgang's surgery was successful. The rupture was contained, and the pressure on his spine diminished. We brought him home from the hospital a day later to begin the long journey of recovering. Then came the worst part-- now we have to make a claim and find out where we stand financially. My stomach sank when we clicked the submit button-- what if they don't cover any of it? What if Wolfgang never recovers and the insurance doesn't come through too? Did we make the wrong call?
Well, if you couldn't tell by the title, it turned out to be one of the most pleasant experiences of my life regarding an insurance company. ASPCA made it easy to file Wolfgang's claim, and they kept us posted on the claim status the entire time. Within about a month, we were reimbursed for almost all of the surgery. It saved us financially, and moreover, it saved Wolfgang. He is still in recovery, and there's a chance he'll never regain use of his rear legs, but he's alive, inspiring, and one happy pup!

Healthy Paws Is Amazing
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for our cat (approximate age 10) and dog (approximate age 3) for the past 3 years. Our experience with Healthy Paws has been nothing short of amazing.
Our beloved cat recently developed congestive heart failure. She has been in-and-out of the emergency hospital several times, and is now under the care of a cardiologist. This care was necessary to save her life. Healthy Paws has paid for virtually everything. In the last month alone, Healthy Paws has paid over $5,000 for her care. This medical care would not have been possible without Healthy Paws.
In addition, our Golden Retriever has had various ear infection, allergy and skin issues. Healthy Paws has paid for those conditions, as well.
Their customer service is excellent. Filing a claim is as easy as snapping a photo of the veterinarian's invoice and sending it through an app on your phone. Healthy Paws sends several email updates as your claim is being processed, and I generally receive a check within 7-10 days. They are always available to answer any questions.
We are forever grateful for our Healthy Paws insurance. If you are considering pet insurance, I highly recommend Healthy Paws. It pays for itself. It is worth it. It gives you the peace of mind to know that you can afford the medical care your pet needs and deserves. Healthy Paws is truly your partner.

Embrace Pet Insurance Has Saved Gus's Life MORE Than Once!
I am forever grateful to the older woman that sat next to me that day at our Vet's office and said, "Oh a new puppy! You better get insurance! Puppies eat everything!!!"
I remember thinking to myself what a silly notion "dog insurance" would be, and then I thought about it again. My family needs medical insurance so wouldn't it be a good idea to have it for our new puppy? Thank GOD we found Embrace!
Gus is a PWD that makes fairly poor choices when left to his own devices. On top of eating things that no human would ever think about eating, he has Addison's Disease (which requires special food and a monthly shot), he's been diagnosed with skin cancer and has undergone radiation treatments to get rid of it in the short term, and he's had two surgeries to remove some of the "poor choices" he's made. Those on top of all the other shots, treatments for allergies and just being a "dog", well, I can attest that we have literally saved a college tuition because we HAD Embrace!
It's because we had insurance that he is still with us today. Had we not had the insurance, we would have NEVER been able to do the treatments, shots and surgeries required to keep this silly little PWD alive and with us today. With his track record, we know that we will be back at the Vet with another issue, but at least I know that we are covered when they happen and for that we are forever grateful!
