LOVE THIS INSURER!
IT'S pretty easy to put in claims with Met Life and most things I thought were covered really are. Love the peace of mind knowing if anything catastrophic happens, Deacon will be covered.

Horrible insurance company
Had them for last 3 year and they never want proccess claims. They try to find a way to not pay
In 3 yrs paying $75 per month they only paid $48 for one claims. What’s the point on getting insurance if YOU are looking for ways NOT pay -
Shame on this company I cancelled and went to anther provider

Kona's Hemangiosarcoma CANCER
We have had Healthy Paws insurance since my German Shephard family member was less than a year old. She was healthy until a month ago. As a result of an emergency ultrasound, we found a tumor on her spleen that ruptured. Because we have Healthy Paws Insurance we were able to make a quick decision on giving her an emergency surgery. Without the surgery, we will not know whether the tumor is cancerous or not, which it unfortunately it was. Even though Kona's outcome is not what we hoped for, it allowed her few precious weeks with her, and were well worth it!
For 11 years, Healthy Paws promptly paid all of her prescriptions and emergency visits less our annual deductible at 90%.
The claim process is/was very easy and fast and we received updates along the way.
I highly recommended them to all pet parents! Their policies and customer service people are the best!

Delay and Confuscate
This company insists on not paying for over $3k in medical bills (the total amt was over $18k.) They claim my baby's epilepsy was the reason he was hospitalized rather than the fact that he had a life-threatening infection. It happened Nov 22. They paid some, then denied the appeal for the rest Aug 23 (9 mo later.) Now I have to do a 2nd level appeal for which they are allowed another 6 mo to complete. This is appalling and unacceptable when I pay them top dollar for insurance for my pets. If you have a better insurance provider, keep them.

I just began
After a horrible experience with Fetch by the DoDo, I compared companies. It seems they have a family-plan and other perks; so, after comparing Metlife with other pet Insurance companies. I have three dogs, and luckily I haven't had to make a claim.

Absolute scam
Where do I start fetch insurance has given me the runaround I had a premium for 5 months I had three claims they denied all three claims stating they were prior issues which if they would have reviewed My dog's medical history as it was supplied to them they would have seen that he has consistent ear infections in his left ear okay cool makes sense they wouldn't cover it however he had a ear infection in his right ear which was his first time ever they denied it said it was a reoccurring problem clearly it's not since it's the complete opposite ear. Then they denied a sick visit and then they denied another ear infection in his right ear which was once again not a prior issue before insurance. I asked because they were not providing the services I paid for a full reimbursement of my premium of 5 months and they denied me stating that nothing I filed a claim for was covered under my policy or it was a reoccurring issue once again they clearly did not review his medical history. I then filed the complaint with the better Business bureau upon filing the complaint mid-April fetch then proceeded to go into my policy and change things that I got email alerts for to cover their own asses in a possible legal dispute they openly admitted they had an error and they adjusted the error and applied it to my deductible this is all after I canceled my policy and we were being mediated by the better Business bureau. They have denied reimbursing me my premium they have denied changing things after openly emitting they change things. This company will not pay out they will find any excuse in any reason to not cover their end of the policy they are a scam. I have fought with them since April and have gotten absolutely nowhere's they continue to deny anything and everything to do with either one covering their end of my policy or reimbursing me for my policy term. I am at the point where I have pretty much told them to shove the money up their ass and that I will now share my experiences with their company with other future potential or current consumers. As a pet owner you all know how expensive vets are how they definitely like to pull on the heartstrings because you care about your pet and want to upcharge everything to maximize profits off you so you go shopping for insurance and this is what You can expect to receive for customer service from fetch. I've heard wonderful things about Costco and chewy for pet insurance. If you choose to go with fetch for insurance for your pets don't be surprised when this is the outcome that you also face. They have stolen roughly $400 from me and had zero intentions to ever provide me with The services I was paying for. There Is many many options out there please do your research and don't make the mistake I did by trusting this joke of a business with a policy for my dogs well-being because at the end of the day they don't care about you or your animals

One less stress!
Trupanion has never let me down. The stress of a new kitten being sick is enough to deal with. Claims are easy to complete and quickly processed. I am so glad I made the decision to sign with them. My sister recommended Trupanion to me.

Pet's Best is the Best!!
My plan has a 90% reimbursement and they have done that with every bill I have submitted, no questions asked. And talk about an easy claim submission process? Always answer questions if you call or email. who knew my 2 year old pit would have a cancerous tumor removed so young? I am sooooo glad I signed up with them and my premium is less than $17 a month! Everyone can afford this and should have it.

We’re sorry you were not satisfied with your plan. We do our best to be transparent throughout our website, during the enrollment process and in the plan documents available to each client in their online Healthy Paws account regarding the limited exclusions of our plan. Those exclusions are pre-existing conditions, preventative/routine care and the office visit fee (vet exam, emergency exam, recheck or consultation). Anyone visiting our website can see this information on our “Benefits, Coverage and Exclusions” page. Since the majority of your claims fell into one of the above categories, we could not provide coverage.
