Great service, great options, very good coverage.
I came to Embrace after dissatisfying experiences with two other pet insurance companies. I was attracted by the flexibility of plans and by the fact that the payments weren't preset by a schedule sheet-but rather by the the actual cost of procedures. What I wasn't expecting was the excellence of the customer service and the speed of payments. More importantly, the amounts reimbursed are usually exactly what I expect-and in some cases higher! Over the last year I have also enjoyed logging on to the Embrace face book page and getting to know the team in charge. They are real pet lovers and the conversation is wonderful. My only complaint is that as Embrace has become bigger it has changed a few things, such as introducing the wellness and the dental savings plan. I liked the earlier versions better, although it does seem that from a business perspective the more recent versions make much more sense and do help keep the overall prices down. I currently have 3 cats insured with Embrace and certainly would recommend Embrace to everyone who wants to insure their pets, and my great experience with Embrace has convinced my vet to let her other clients know about the great service Embrace offers.

Good luck
I have been with your insurance company for about 7 years. I am astonished that conditions that arise with canine aging are tagged under general headings not covered by your insurance and denied.

Fast and friendly
Always fast and friendly responses. Been quicker as of late. On average, I receive an email a few days after the claim, processed within a week, and cheque artives a few days later. Other than a mishap about deductibles (not fulfilled and claiming a year later), service has always been exceptional.

porcopine encounters
I have spoken to many people about their claim experiences with other providers and have heard stories about exemptions for 2nd or 3rd claims such as quill removal. Trupanion has never questioned our claims and has always processed them quickly. After 3 years of off leash walks I find that my 2 huskies will now be on leash which is unfortunate. eventually there will be some fully fenced off leash areas in calgary. I recommend Trupanion to all and wish I had purchased insurance for my previous 2 huskies who over the course of 12 years cost us around $30,000.00 I couldn't be more pleased with a provider.

Outstanding!
I am more than happy that I selected Trupanion when purchasing a policy for my dog. She has had a couple of bad injuries this year, and Trupanion almost always has our claim reviewed and payment sent within a week!

Be careful with Pets Best
I have had Pets Best since 2008. They were indeed very responsive intially to my claims. I have had four dogs on the insurance. Currently I have three dogs. One of my dogs in the last 2 years has required extensive medical help on his back and his rear legs. Intially my dog was limping on his right rear leg. There was a significant problem with his gate. I recognized what it was, a gracilis contracture, not uncommon in Athletic German Shepherds. My primary vet could not diagnose it. When the gait continued to get worse after tests and other treatment, I went to a very well known Ortho Surgeon. He also could not find a gracils contracture. However, he suspected Cauda Equina. Upon sedation for a CT to diagnose cauda equina, the doctor confirmed a gracilis contracture in his right rear leg. Nothing could be done for that nad it was an ancillary diagnosis, not at all related to the Cauda Euqina. The CT did find Cuada Equina/Lumbar Stenosis and we had surgery to treat that. That used half of my allotment for treatement. A year later my dog was in obvious pain again. Another CT scan revealed a herniated disc between L6 and L7. Pets Best denied this claim and said it was related to the Cauda Equina claim and the CT exam exhausted my allotted amount for that.
Now, two years later, my dog has a semitendinosis contracture in his left rear leg. I consulted with one Board certified Veterinarian Orthpedist who referred me to another Board Certified Ortho Vet. I subm
