We have had major claims on two of our dogs while being an Embrace customer (fortunately not in the same year!). They have been very helpful in assisting us with the claim process and have been very quick in sending the reimbursment. Not only have they been supportive, they have followed up with us concerning how our dogs were doing while they recovered! They've made us feel like our dogs were important to them and not just a "number" in their files. We have recommended Embrace to many of our dog friends!

I am very happy with Embrace -- their communication skills are top notch and their coverage fair and consistent. I give them a 10!!

My cat got stung by a bee to his upper lip and had severe facial swelling. Pet was taken to local veterinary hospital after hours. Pet was treated accordingly and picked up early the following morning. Facial swelling was reduced significantly but not resolved completely. Pet was taken to his primary DVM and no further treatment was needed. Claim for accidental injury filled out and submitted. Partial reimbursement received within 2 weeks and I was somewhat content with amount of reimbursement but did not feel I received 80% of total costs.

I’ve not had health insurance for my dogs before. After a very expensive surgery for my first lab, I decided to get health insurance for my second rescued lab. Recently my lab apparently was nauseated and ingested many leaves and a rope ball toy (gallon-size ziploc bag full!) and needed surgery to remove this stuff from her stomach. The bill was $4000 and Healthy Paws paid all the charges (no haggling or reductions) at exactly what my plan specified and within a week! They also keep checking in with me to see how she is doing. It's so refreshing to have such prompt, caring and personal service from an insurance company. My lab has better health care coverage with Healthy Paws, and at a reasonable monthly rate, than I do (I’m self-employed), can I sign up?
