Good, but one mistake
Good and quick service but there was an oversight when getting the claim that resulted in not getting compensated enough. However, it wads taken care of when brought to their attention.

The Best
My dog has been insured with Trupanion since May of 2011 and I have had to submit several claims since that time. I decided to go with the $0 deductible plan, as I really liked the idea of getting my vet costs almost completely reimbursed. I also purchased the endorsement which will cover hip dysplasia (for a nominal extra premium). The plan I chose to go with pays 90% of all covered expenses. The other company I had prior to Trupanion was woefully inadequate in paying out for much of anything and I ended up with huge costs that they just did not cover...plus,no illness/condition, etc. that was considered "hereditary" or "genetic" was covered by them either. Trupanion also states that they do not raise the insurance premiums as the pet ages (with minor exceptions). The service I have received has been prompt and absolutely more than satisfactory. I have recommended Trupanion to many people who have dogs and cats. Choosing Trupanion was the best decision I ever made for my Golden Retriever.

Went with Embrace because they had Dental Coverage
When I researched Embrace 2010 and decided that they offered a very complete insurance policy including Dental I decided it would be the best signed up and payed. Well I'm glad I got pet insurance, because my dog has had soo many issues. New policy for 2012 eliminates Dental you can buy a wellness plan if you pay an extra $299 with a $400 limit for dental issues. Which works out to $101.00 woppie savings big deal you don't use it you lose it too. Most dental proceeders cost more than $400 anyway. Now I'm stuck with this insurance company because of course most insurance companies will not take preexisting condition! So beware it might look good one year but they hook you and take it away. Also they make it so hard to file claims if you forget to dot the I. My thought on this is more difficult to file claim the insurance company is hoping you will give up so they don't have to pay.

Very pleased!
I got Embrace pet insurance when my cavalier king charles spaniel was a puppy. The breed is known to have many health problems. Embrace has covered all of her health issues. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of their service. I get reimbursed quickly and they even send me e-mails that notify me when the checks are sent out. I no longer hesitate when I need to take my dog to the vet. I know that I will be covered by Embrace.

Dependable
I've had Embrace Pet Insurance for about 5 years now and have had no problems. Every claim has been handled quickly and completely within their policy. I never felt as though they were trying to get out of paying a claim. I truely believe they are pet lovers and want the best for your pet.

pleasantly surprised!
The first email I received regarding my claim erroniously said that I was not entitled to any money from a claim I had made. Then I called embrace, left a message and I received a check in the mail in the next few days, thank you embrace!

I 100% recommend Trupanion
My husband and I signed both of our dogs up with Trupanion. After reveiwing other pet insurance plans we felt Trupanion was the best plan. Unfortunatley we have had to use our insruance due to our pet becoming ill with cancer. We submitted our claims via fax and we were reimbursed within two weeks for eligiable medical expenses. The Trupanion staff treats you with respect, compassion and, are very professional. I reccomend Trupanion 100%. Alesha and James Boyd
