Excellent plan,excellent service
We have had Grace covered from the trial period on. She is eight now and has had several occasions that required the use of her coverage. She just had TPLO surgery to repair a torn ligament and meniscus in her left knee. The coverage allowed us to choose this more expensive operation over a cheaper option that had less chance of success for her age and weight. Very happy with the service.

The staff at Trupanion have all been so helpful and compassionate toward myself and family. We all have our dogs insured with them. Presently I am setting up insurance for my two cats.

I purchased Pets Best for my two dogs. My lab damaged her ACL 3 months into the program. I was thankful I had purchased the insurance, unfortunately the plan must be in effect for 1 yr before ligament injuries are covered.Out of pocket: $2,800. Coverage : $00.00.
I'm still glad I have the insurance and will maintain it as long as my dogs are with me. I understand the reasoning for the delay in coverage. Just read the fine print.

Very pleased with the process
When myu dog, Dolce became ill with a gastro track infection, we took her to the Vet and we incurred a $380 bill. Dolce got better is doing fine and I submitted the invoices and was reimbursed for most of the cost very quickly. Thank You Trupanion. Excellent service and easy to use.

Worth It!
I got pet insurance days after I got my lab. Smart idea! Although I have been lucky and have not had any major emergencies, having the insurance did give me the support when an issue did come up. The peace of mind that pet insurance brings, for me, is worth it. Cheap enough to be possible on any budget, makes a HUGE difference when something does come up. I had an emergency vet visit that cost a few hundred dollars, getting 80% back made my decision of taking her in easy.

Review on Jackson's Claim
The claim process was quick and easy; this was the 2nd claim we submitted so the insurance company, Trupanion already had all of his previous medical records so this made it quicker. The first time a claim was sent in, it took a very long time, however this was expected.
