The German Shepherd breed can have many health issues. Trupanion has never denied my claims and has always provided excellent customer service! We have been clients of Trupanion for the past 8 years. If you choose to have a pet that is known to have health issues, you need pet insurance! Trupanion is worth every penny!

I tell everyone about Trupanion! I wish my human health insurance was as supportive and fast acting as Trupanion!!! My 8 year old German Shepherd has many health issues. Just recently she had emergency surgery for BLOAT. When one chooses to have a breed that can have many different health issues, Dog insurance is a must! We have never been denied a claim from Trupanion. I can not say enough about the communication that Trupanion gives you when dealing with a claim. Trupanion is updated by email/text through every step of the claim process. All of the representatives I have dealt with have truly been real not just reading a script or trying to get me off the phone. They truly are very helpful and care about what is happening with my pet. One of my dog s health issues happened at a time that I was dealing with some serious health issues. I had to call Trupanion to check on something. After a very caring phone conversation, the representative was so kind and she sent a follow up Get Well card for both me and my dog. When I called this past time from the VCA hospital not knowing if my dog was going to live... the representative calmed me down and was so supportive. I am not being paid or given anything to say/write this... I wish more companies were run like Trupanion. I get what I0 pay for and MORE with Trupanion. They truly care, they don't mess around, they just get it done... whatever it is that I need from them!

I can't speak highly enough about Healthy Paws. I got a Havanese puppy at 8 weeks old and insured him with them after a lot of research. Thank goodness I chose them. At 9 months my little guy had two adult teeth stuck underneath impacted bone. We had to pay $2k for a dentist to drill the bone away from his teeth and I was certain no insurance would cover dental work and if they did I thought his case would be excluded , but they actually covered it! And then, about 2 weeks later they actually emailed me to follow up and see how he was feeling which I thought was super sweet. And the email did not read as if it was auto-generated, so it was nice to see they actually care. Id give them more than 5 stars if I could!

I am truly happy that I have Nationwide Per Insurance. It has definitely made health decisions easier. My main issue is that it takes the full 30 days to process claims.

I’m fortunate that my 110 pound dog is generally quite healthy. But when those other times happen...it is great to know that ASPCA pet Insurance is there to help with the bills. On the most recent claim my dog had a stomach virus that just wouldn’t go away. The vet needed to run some tests and prescribe medication and see him for a recheck. Fortunately, Bailey has recovered and is doing fine AND the pet insurance reimbursed me fairly. They even called a few weeks later to see how both of us were doing! Five years ago he inhaled an acorn that lodged in his trachea. We almost lost him because neither the regular vet or the emergency vet could get it out. Our pup was in critical condition being kept alive by machines until a specialist was able to remove the acorn after several attempts. Bailey fully recovered and ASPCA pet insurance came through to keep this $6,200 bill from being such a big financial hit for us. And yes, they followed up a couple of times to check on his progress and to see if they could be of any help! The service reps are professional, kind, caring and supportive.

I think it's great that Nationwide has helped me with my pets. When your pet needs surgery or has an illness, sometimes you just don't have the money to take care of them the way you would. Nationwide really helps with that. I feel more comfortable that I can give my fur babies the best possible care they deserve! I have two dogs. One has allergies and the other got a parasite from drinking water in the park. I'm still waiting for Nationwide to get back with me regarding the parasite, but the allergy was taken care of. It's very comforting to know that others care.

I have had many claims this past year for my little guy. This past year is the only time I have had to use the insurance. Nationwide has done a great job in paying all the claims, which have been many, during the 2017 - 2018 year. They paid for services that I was not even aware that they would pay for. This company has helped me to maintain my little guy's quality of heath during his golden years. I could not ask for better service from them. All of my claims were reimbursed within about 2 weeks.
