Not thorough
Pros:- covers illnesses some pet insurance plans don't
- annual deductible
- customizable plans
- covers wellness
- everything is done online
Cons:
- more expensive than other pet insurance plans
- upgrading plans will make previous conditions pre-existing
- considers dermal cysts and histiocytomas pre-existing
- missed the attachment of Orthopedic Exam
- phones broke down
- took 7 calendar days to finally talk to and clarify an e-mail with a particular Claims Embracer who was always not at their desk. Claims they had phone issues.
- took 29 calendar days (no holidays) to process my claim and they missed the attachment
- took 34 calendar days (no holidays) to receive my refund

What a relief!
I hate to say it, but I was surprised when Embrace paid the cost of an eye surgery as the insurance company originally advertised! Not only did they pay the claim amount (minus deductible), but customer service was extremely friendly and contacted me to make sure I had received the payment. Thank you, Embrace, for doing what I paid the insurance premiums for!!

Peace of mind not to have to bear all the cost.
Our German Shepherd Frodo had somehow pretty much destroyed his knee, and because of his size our vet recommended TPLO procedure. The surgery went well, but weeks later there were draining fistulas in his leg, and ultimately it was determined that he was trying to reject the plate. Yet another surgery then to remove the plate. The total for all of this was about $5,000, of which insurance paid over half. As I tell people, my dog has better health insurance than many people in this country.

Madi is healthy again!
Madi-Lyn has had several health issues, including cataracts and allergies. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has made it possible for me to get her good veterinary care and she is now a healthy and happy kitty.

Satisfaction
We adopted Diva and ask our Vet which Pet Insurance we should consider. He said he felt ASPCA was one of the best on the market. Her first visit was an ear infection and teeth cleaning. We were reimbersed within 45 days.
We had to take her to the Vet again for stomache problems. He gave her medication and she has been fine.
Again it was about 45 days and we were reinbersed. We are satisfied with ASPCA, I think people should conser insuring there pets. Without insurance it would almost be imposible to keep our pet.

Love Trupanion!
I have had my dog insured with Trupanion for 1-1/2 years never and have always had great experiences. My dog has had two cases of gastroenteritis, a skin infection, and most recently a broken tooth that required a crown (at the recommendation of my referring vet and the veterinary dental specialist). They have been very fast with processing claims and have never given me any trouble about pursuing the best medicine for my dog. I would highly recommend them!

Highly Recommened
Our newest fur baby was diagnosed with lymphoma a couple of weeks ago. He was a happy/healthy boy and only 5 years old. Of course we were devastated and had to quickly decide how to proceed. The good news is that lymphoma is one of the most treatable forms of cancer in dogs and we decided to follow the typical treatment using chemo. After two weeks he is in complete remission and seems to be almost back to normal. I was a bit skeptical that our petstbest basic insurance policy would cover such an expensive treatment but filed the claims very easily online. Took a few days to process but PetsBest covered all the claims minus the 20%. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement!
