Worth the investment
Medication and tests can get expensive, especially with a large breed, which we have. Trupanion has allowed us to give our dog medical treatment that would have otherwise been a daunting expense.

Embrace does what it says they'll do
Having had pet insurance 10 years ago, we were skeptical of jumping in again. But having 7 dogs (yes, 7) we figured why not try it - esp since our 9 yr old Bernese Mountain Dog just went through a $10k+ back surgery and we paid out of pocket for it. Had we been insured with Embrace, we would have only paid about $2k for it. Since insuring our eligible dogs, one of our guys was diagnosed with mast cell cancer and Embrace has been a godsend. Suffice it to say, we are demanding people and I own a small business so I know from customer service and delivering on what I promise - Embrace has it down and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I COULD AFFORD SURGERY W/ASPCA INSURANCE
I knew having a giant dog would pose severe financial constraints if anything ever happened to my Oliver. As a pet lover, I too want to keep my baby healthy as long as possible. My question to myself; Did I want to put my beloved pet "to sleep" only because of an issue of money? I was faced with that choice when Oliver tore his ACL, and ASPCA helped me provide the veterainary care needed: major orthopedic surgery and alot of followup care and meds. I've had this insurance for 4 years and 2 of those years the insurance has definitely paid for itself. Customer service staff has been extremely helpful with my or vet's questions, and payment in timely manner when all documents provided. Yes the plan only pays 80%, but the peace of mind it offers far outways my financial contribution. Just wish they would offer pre-existing condition with policy w/pet that has been with the plan. Will I continue the plan for Oliver and would I purchase plan for future animals? Absolutely!

Excellent Customer Service
Embrace realizes the importance of " taking care of the customers needs" in a very timely and responsive manner whether it be claims processing, policy questions or general info regarding your pet. I have researched and have had other pet insurance companies in the past but I can truthfully say that none of these can compare to my overall excellent experience that I have enjoyed with Embrace over the last 4 years. I would highly recommend Embrace to anyone who is looking for high quality professional and responsive care for their beloved pet !!!

Gives me peace of mind
ASPCA pet insurance is comprehensive (depending on level) and reasonable. Service is friendly and helpful, and claims processing is fairly straightforward and timely. I do wish their standard fees for various procedures were more in line with charges in my area (Boston), I.e. reimbursement could definitely be more generous.

Denial for not neutering dog
Report this claim declination to you state insurance department. I don't see where the coverage is dependent on your dog being neutered by its first birthday.

A positive experience
My yorkie, Samson, developed a very serious case of Pancreatitis and was hospitalized for 10 days. He had to have a number of expensive medical tests and proceedures before he began to improve. Since i was a new client with Trupanion, I didn't know what to expect. My previous experience with other pet insurance companies was not very positive and I anticipated problems with the claims I submitted. I was very pleasantly surprised, Trupanion Insurance kept their commitments and reinbursed my claims without any hesitation. I found the entire process very sofisticated and efficient and the turnaround time was quick. Their policy was very easy to understand was straight forward regarding what was was not covered. No small print of ambiguous language.I would and do recommend Trupanion to all friends and family.
