Made a Claim

My pet Insurance company, Trupanion,is a positive cooperative and caring company.I have in the past called and actually talked with a service rep to explain to me if I have coverage for certain claims. My latest claim came back for my lab/german shephard 100 lb dog's torn knee ligament, which involved serious surgery. The claim came back within two weeks, and during that time, they kept in contact,as to when they received the claim, when it was being processed and when it was sent back to me.No other company of any kind has given me that kind of resolve. I was very impressed, that my money was not tied up for weeks or even months for reimbursement.

Ease of claim process

I've had Pet's Best insurance on my female wirehair for roughly 4 years, and earlier had filed a very small claim with which I was quite pleased in both the ease of the process as well as the outcome. My dog recently had a broken molar and required root canal and repair -- a surprisingly large expense. In the last 3 yr, the claim process has become even easier and the resolution more rapid. Wish my own health insurance was this easy. The company was very responsive, very easy to communicate with electronically, and what I thought to be eminently fair in how the claim was treated. My second dog is a 2 yr old male and a pup of the other one. I have since added him to the policy (also an easy process) and have recommended Pet's Best both to the owners of the other pups in the litter as well as to friends with working dog breeds.

simple and easy reimbursement

My experience with embrace has been nothing but straightforward and easy. They answer questions quickly and clearly and are VERY accessible via email. I recently went through my first reimbursement following a problem my dog had with colitis - I wish all my own experiences with health insurance were half as simple and easy as the one for my dog at embrace!! I have nothing but good things to say about every aspect of embrace and recommend them to everyone with pets.

I am so happy we got insurance for our pets!

We live in Florida and have two puppies, one pup is just a year old and the other is six months old. When we took the younger one to be neutered, prior to the procedure his liver blood work tested abnormal and required specialty testing which included sending the blood sample overnight to Cornell University in New York. I doubted that it would be covered, but we submitted it to Trupanion and were thrilled to discover they covered 90% after our $50 deductible. It took only a couple of days to process and we received a check the following week.

Extraodinary Service

I researched a number of pet insurers before settling on Pets Best. I did not expect to be using it quite so quickly; within months, I needed to file a claim for my Maltese dog's neurological dry eye condition. The company was superb. Downloading the claims forms was easy, I received emails detailing the processing right away, and had a check in my hands within days. I should also add that we share our home with five dogs/cats, and wondered how much and what kind of coverage to get. A very patient service rep helped me go over my options, did not try to "upsell" me, and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. It is a pleasure for me to recommend this company -- and I do so without reservation.

good stuff!!!

this is my first experience with pet insurance. i did not know that they had such a thing. it is helpful to know there is someone in your corner helping you along the way. vet bills are as much as our doctor bills and it can be financially a tough decision to carry on treatment or not.

Always reliable, always there!

Izzie, our 2 y/o Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier/Standard Poodle mix)is a bundle of energy, afflicted with multiple medical challenges, since she joined our family when 10 weeks old.A few days after she came home for the first time, we shopped online for a good medical insurance plan for her. The ASPCA plan fit our needs exactly. It would protect Izzie very well, particularly in case of any serious illness or accident, while also "protecting" our family budget. We are school teachers and need to be financially mindful. Well, as it turned out, for the first year or so of Izzie's life, she suffered just about every imaginable illness. She had skin diseases, gastro-intestinal things, dislocated ACL (twice), compromised stool samples (as puppy, Izzie had a knack for getting into, and eating, everything she could find, that was guaranteed to give her the runs. After she turned a year old or so, although most of her puppy year's challenges were overcome, she then began to suffer a pernicious skin infection that culminated in successful consultations with a dermatology veterinarian. We tell all this, because our intial decision to select the ASPCA insurance plan for Izzie was Heaven-sent. The plan's management never, never, questioned treatment options or costs by Izzie's veterinarians...always processing dutifully and on time! We've chosen to contribute to ASPCA initiatives as we can afford to do so, particularly since the ASPCA has been very generous in their coverage of Izzie's medic
