Becoming Increasingly Frustrated with Service
I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the quality of the customer service provided by both the telephone reps as well as the claims processors. My claims are consistently being processed incorrectly with Embrace informing me that my claim is not covered when - in fact - it should be. Thereby requiring to make multiple phone calls and send multiple emails to receive the coverage that I have paid for. The avoidance and unwillingness to pay claims is almost equivalent to fraud. If you would like to chase your pet insurance company to claim monies truly owed to you, then please do choose Embrace.

Unbelieveable.
This is not my first experience with pet insurance, and have to say that my previous experiences almost kept me from trying it again. I'm glad that I did, and that I chose Embrace. Although I probably shouldn't be, I have been surprised every time they have covered expenses that I have submitted reimbursements on. And they have covered them all - from laser eye surgery for a tumor to emergency procedures for bloat. Thank you, Embrace. You've earned a life-long customer!!

AWESOME!
I was originally going to sign up for one of those larger pet insurance companies that you hear about often. But I decided to be thoughtful and do some research. Healthy Paws ended up rising to the top based on the criteria I had. I wanted a company that had high satisfaction scores from clients, covered illnesses/sicknesses, were responsive and most importantly treated me like a person. Not only did Healthy Paws meet these criteria but they also had an added benefit - they actually care about my pet. When I have submitted claims they actually ask how my dog is doing! What insurance company does that? In addition, they have consistently processed my claims in under a week! I absolutely love Healthy Paws and will use them for all my future pets.

Emergent Gastro Surgery
Healthy Paws saved us thousands of dollars after our 6 month old puppy had to have an emergent surgery, at a specialty facility, after hours. We love that we were not restricted to specific facilities/treating vets by the insurance company. Within 2 weeks we were reimbursed the majority of the money. We are so thankful that our friends had recommended Healthy Paws

Pets Best is the Best of Four Tried
I have had pet insurance since 1993 from VPI to AKC Pet Healthcare and Pets First. I currently have 3 Mastiffs covered by Pets Best for less than it costs for one with AKC Pet Healthcare. Unlike most pet insurance companies, Pet's Best is easy to use and claims are reimbursed in a timely manner. My vet often asks who I recommend and I have no trouble telling him Pet's Best.

Embrace is the best!
Our dog was diagnosed with Addison's disease last year and without Embrace we would be swimming in a sea of bills. Not only is our dog healthy and happy, we have less worries about all the visits to the vet to keep him healthy. The best decision we ever made was to get insurance from Embrace for him.

expensive possibly but pretty good
Our pet experience is to young yet as she is only 18 months old. We have the insurance to insure our peace of mind that we are taking good care of her.

So Glad we had Embrace Pet Insurance!
I was glad we had Embrace when our dog Terra started to experience strange symptoms. It was late and we were about to go to bed, but we decided to take her to the Emergency Vet instead. Terra had developed pyometra and needed emergency surgery ASAP! If we had gone to sleep she probably wouldn't be with us today. She almost died in surgery when her infected uterus burst and another doctor who decided to stay and help came out to tell us it wasn't looking good. Luckily, she was a fighter and she pulled through and began healing surprisingly well. I couldn't help thinking while she was in surgery "I sure hope Embrace comes through for us" It was definitely NOT CHEAP! Terra's ordeal cost us 4,400 bucks and although we would have paid anything to get her better, we were not in a position to spend that type of money. Everyone thought we were crazy! Thanks to Embrace, we were reimbursed $3,009 after our deductable and copay, which sure was a relief. Embrace was great! I always knew what was going on with my claim every step of the way. An agent always emailed me with updates, when the claim was done, when the check was going out and even to make sure we received our check. We had our check before Terra was even fully recovered. I was VERY impressed with their customer service! Even got an e-mail just to see how Terra was doing weeks later, which was nice. I hope to never file another claim like that again, but I'm sure glad we had Embrace!

Healthy Paws exceeded my expectations!
I dropped Holly off for her first day of doggy day care and when I picked her up that evening she had a huge hole in her chest. While the dogs were playing in the back yard another dog attacked her.
Off we went to the after hours emergency vet and then to our normal vet first thing the following morning. The wound was pretty bad and required extensive surgery.
When all was said and done the bill came to $835. I submitted my claim 8:30am Thursday morning and at 2:40pm I received an email that my claim had been received. Fifteen minutes later I received another email that the claim was approved and the check would be mailed shortly. The check arrived on Monday - exactly one week after the attack! Wow!
Health Paws customer service has been great and they've contacted me several times to check in on Holly. I had pet insurance with another company and the service was nothing like Healthy Paws. I based my decision to sign up with Healthy Paws on the reviews on this website and am so glad I did!

Rip you off...
I submitted one claim which was declined. They claim it is a pre-exsisting condition which is not true. Do not buy this insurance. Complete frauds. I had my dog insured and when I noticed the age on the contract was 7 months wrong, I had to have it reissued with an entirely new contract, thus they said she wasn't covered.
