Pets Best is so much better than VPI!!!
I am truly amazed! I submitted my latest claim on-line late one afternoon and it was already processed by the next morning. That's less than 24 hours!!! I signed up for direct deposit and my reimbursement was in my account within 72 hours. Not only did Pets Best reimburse as they said they would, they were extremely efficient in doing so. Previously, I had VPI (for 23 years) and while it started out as a good company, I watched the customer service steadily go downhill. Not only did they take "months" to reimburse claims, but they had many differnet loop holes that they jumped through to avoid paying out on claims (things that were not disclosed clearly to customers). I am thrilled with Pets Best and have recommended it to many many friends over the last few years and they are just as happy with them. I HIGHLY recommend Pets Best!!!!

The best of the best
I'll be the first to admit that I checked the reviews on this site to pick a good insurance company for my Chocolate Lab. I had VPI, and I wasn't happy with their coverage, so I went with healthy paws. Unbelievable service, quick claim processing (sent in at 3PM, received claim processed email at 7PM). Their CSR are very happy and accommodating, and I will never change insurance companies, and I've already referred several friends to Healthy Paws. Rock on!

Thanks ASPCA
My Yorkie "Tibeau" is my baby and I was heartbroken when the Vet told me that she has arthritis in her knee. It was so sad to see her limping and being in pain. He prescribed Rimadyl (which is pretty spendy) for and it really worked to make her more comfortable and she soon was back to herself, running and playing like she could not do before. I was so thankful that ASPCA Pet Insurance approved and is paying for her continuing care for the Rimadyl. It makes for peace of mind for me that ASPCA makes it easier for me to pay the bills!!

Healthy Paws rocks!
I researched several pet insurance companies before diving in, but Healthy Paws has been great since we started our policy 5 months ago. Our 9 month old puppy has needed thousands of dollars in medical treatment for various items and Healthy Paws has delivered exactly as advertised. Our claims manager even checked up on our pup after her most recent surgery to see how she was feeling. All thumbs up for Healthy Paws! Well worth the investment!

Entirely Pleased with Trupanion!
I adopted a Maltese/Havanese puppy from a rescue group last April. I took him to the vet for an initial visit and was offered a free trial of Trupanion coverage which I accepted. When the trial period was up, I continued the coverage since I wanted to be sure that I could afford whatever care my new companion might need. I am so glad that I did! He has had five claims in a year's time, and every one of them was handled beautifully by Trupanion. For this year, the refunds we have gotten on our claims have significantly exceeded the premiums that I have paid.
Mostly recently, my dog had one trip to the emergency vet and two additional hospitalizations at our regular vet for constipation and complications of this (colitis)--he was miserably sick. I had essentially three claims related to the same problem. The bills were just over $500. The very next week after I filed the paperwork, I received checks totaling nearly $360. This really helps! I am so glad that I decided to keep the coverage for my dog. I don't ever want to be in the position of not being able to afford the care he needs, and having his Trupanion policy gives me peace of mind that I can provide whatever medical care my little buddy needs.
