WE WERE HEART BROKEN WHEN OUR G.S.P. DIED IN FEBRUARY LAST YEAR FROM CANCER. AFTER NINE MONTHS OF TEARS AND HEARTACHE WE DECIDED TO GET ANOTHER PUP - HENCE OUR JOSIE - CHOCOLATE LAB. OUR BREEDER HAD GIVEN US THREE MONTHS OF INSURANCE WITH PETSECURE AND WE DECIDED TO CONTINUE WITH SECURE 4 AFTER THE THREE MONTHS WAS UP. LITTLE DID WE KNOW HOW MUCH WE WOULD APPRECIATE OUR DECISION. IT DID NOT TAKE LONG TO REALIZE THAT OUR LITTLE 8 WEEK OLD PUP HAD A PROBLEM. SHE HAS HAD MAJOR SURGERY DUE TO KIDNEY/BLADDER PROBLEMS AND IT HAS BEEN A VERY LONG, VERY DIFFICULT STRUGGLE FOR JOSIE AND FOR US. WE HAVE HAD MANY, MANY SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND MANY, MANY TEARS. HOWEVER - THANKS TO PETSECURE WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HELP THIS LITTLE GAL AND SHE NOW - AT 10 MONTHS OLD - VISITS A NURSING HOME EVERY WEEK WHERE THE RESIDENTS JUST ADORE HER. PETSECURE HAS PAID EVERY CLAIM WE HAVE SUBMITTED - PROMPTLY AND JUST AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD IN THEIR PAMPHLETS. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL, VERY SUPPORTIVE AND THEY HAVE ALLOWED US TO OVERCOME THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WE HAVE SPENT WELL OVER $10,000.00 ON JOSIE AND PETSECURE HAS PAID EVERY PENNY THEY CLAIMED THEY WOULD. FROM OUR EXPERIENCE - IF YOU ARE QUESTIONING SIGNING UP WITH PETSECURE - DO IT!!!! WE HAVE NOT HAD PET INSURANCE IN THE PAST - WE ALWAYS WILL NOW - THANK TO PETSECURE!!!

I wish my own health insurance was as friendly and helpful as embrace. So far I have had very quick responses from well informed people. I had to do some very expensive oral surgery on my dog and my policy took the sting out of the final bill.

As a former insurance professional, I understand the value of having coverage on my pets and Embrace has done an excellent job of providing me with peace of mind. I have been a customer of for three years and have had nothing but positive experiences with this carrier from underwriting to claims handling and follow-through. Embrace offers an easy-to-understand policy and an even easier claims process; the company does an excellent job of communicating the status of reported claims and shows genuine concern for your pet. I had the unfortunate experience of losing a pet at a young age to cancer, and Embrace showed amazing support for my loss, including making a donation in Shyla's name. Embrace offers an excellent product and excellent customer service. I would have no problem recommending this company's product to anyone.

I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG! The lady I first spoke with was extremely nice, and sounded genuinely caring about my dogs injury. I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of customer service I received from the first moment. Trupanion helped me through the process and quickly took care of the claim. My dog has had three surgeries in two months and Trupanion and the people that work there have been nothing but helpful. I am so happy I chose this insurance company. I have nothing but positive comments so far!

Trupanion has been both professional and empathetic when it comes to the handling of my claims. Their policies are clear and their staff is polite and responsive. Now, what more could you ask for from a health insurance company. I only wish my health insurance plan was as caring and dependable as Trupanion!

I would avoid this company like the plague. You are better off saving your premium for actial vet cinic visits and saving yourself the trouble of dealing with this company. Their business model seems to be based o deny the claim for any reason and hope the client doesn't pursue the claim. It appears that your claim was denied because your dog showed signs of the condition ...prior to insurance coverage, making the condition pre-existing. However, we would be glad to re-review a claim; you'd just need to get your vet to write us a letter clarifying how the claimed condition is unrelated to the prior symptoms. -Stacy My Reply: Hello Stacy, I appreciate your time in looking into my complaint. Perhaps you should have reviewed the documents more thoroughly before replying in a public forum. Trupanion has all of my pet's records and none of them document a preexi...sting condition. I have also already provided supporting documents from a specialist. We have been with Embrance for several years and totally impressed by their coverage and service. Great staff

My dog accidentally broke its leg. Trupanion was able to settle our insurance claim quickly. We were contacted by phone and email. We would do anything to keep our pets healthy and happy. Trupanion in my opinion has the healthy and happy philosophy for both clients and their precious pets. The only thing I could suggest is direct billing for pet emergency hospitals.
