We have made a vew trips to the vet for various things that happen to old dogs, and every single time had prompt reimbursements.

My 4 month old puppy had a medical issue that fell into a gray area in my policy. The Healthy Paws staff took the extra time to review and understand all the details and circumstances of my claim and did additional reviews. There were several phone calls during this process to keep me up to date so I never felt like I was just a number. I was very pleased with the final decision. After we settled the claim the check arrived within days and I received several emails checking on my dogs well being. I appreciate the extra effort made by all the Healthy Paws staff. This a company that really cares.

This is our second occasion to submit a claim to Trupanion and once again the service was excellent. An update on the submission process was, either by e-mail or phone, was always very professional with very little need to question the payment process. My older dog was 10 when I realized I wanted to have her covered. Pets Beat was the only insurance company I could find that was willing to insure her. The rate was fairly reasonable and the coverage was fair. The fact that she could now be covered was a load off my mind. After, they always processed and paid claims promptly. Thanks Pets Best!

I recently put in our first claim with Trupanion. My gsd was diagnosed with pancreatitis, it came on extremely fast and was scary! The customer service at Trupanion is great and when I asked how I go about making a claim the woman i spoke to was so helpful that I asked about some other issues we had with our staffy. She was adopted 3years ago and recently had a pellet surface in her face, we had the pellet removed and never thought about putting in a claim because we thought that would be considered pre-existing. The woman I spoke to told me to file the claim because we didn't have previous knowledge of the injury. Our claim was initially lost, once I called it was cleared up rather quickly and both claims were paid out. My only complaint is that our rates went up a couple days later.

Embrace has really come through for us. We don't have a lot of money so it has been nice to know that we would never have to make a financial decision about our dogs' healthcare. One of my dogs had a $2400 surgery after swallowing plastic. We received about $1800 back. It would have been a significant hardship if not for our coverage.

The insurance agent was great. The only thing I would change is to have the claim paid directly to the Vet, and we the insured pay the difference so we are not out of pocket a large amount all at once.
