Trupanion gives excellent service
My cat had decreased appetite and voiding. He became dehydrated several times and needed fluids. He vomited and was given anti-nausea injections, had blood work, x-rays and urine test to find out he had cystitis. He still was not eating or drinking much and was given a pill to increase his appetite. My vet took excellent care of him and having Trupanion insurance gave me peace of mind.

Great Experience with Healthy Paws So Far!
We have had Healthy Paws insurance for our <2-year-old Yorkie/Bichon mix, but never had the occasion to use it (luckily) until about 2 weeks ago. Olive had some vomiting over the course of a couple days, and a vet visit and diagnostics ran up a quick $600 bill. The vet's office did the legwork with the claim, and we received an email about a week later saying my claim had been processed and they'd be sending a check.
At this point, I was very happy. However, they REALLY sealed the deal when I received a personal email asking how Olive was doing after her "tummy troubles". It was obviously a personally-written email from a human, and they even asked for a picture, which I was only too happy to provide. I got a very nice email in return within a few hours. I couldn't be happier with Healthy Paws.

Great service, well worth it
We've had Embrace insurance for over a year now for our puppy and recently renewed. He has gone through a lot in his life thus far and Embrace has been great. Highly recommend them to anyone with a pet. The claim process is quick, communications are helpful, information is accurate and all around a very professional operation. I wish my personal health insurance was this great!!

You have to use Embrace - none better
We got Embrace in 2009. Six months later, our 6-year old, Bagel, got unexpected and unexplained lymphoma. Embrace sorted out all the claims and made the process so easy to get reimbursed, which is what you need when everything is in trauma from a pet with a critical illnes or injury. During that period, Embrace employees working on the claims would ask about Bagel. When we lost her, they all sent sympathy e-mails. We have Embrace for two other dogs, and purchased the wellness adder. We cannot say enough about the great value, overall experience, and quick reimbursements. Top dog insurance - you need to choose Embrace.

Took a very long time to process this claim
While I was kept informed of the process, it took over a month to process this claim. There was only one charge and the amount was just applied to my deductible, so I'm not sure what the hold-up was with it.

Be careful what you wish for
Honestly, I feel your coverage does not take into consideration that I live in New York, where everything is more than some small mid western state. My bills come in and your coverage is more times than not laughable Just for the record I have 8 dogs. Ranging from small french bull dogs. to 90lb weimaranar

Insurance proved valuable
My dog Lola began having gastrointestinal issues as a puppy, involving several trips to the vet. The very first trip met my deductible and subsequent trips have been covered by the insurance. It took several different visits before they decided she had an intolerance to her food. Thankfully, she is doing well on a sensitive stomach food now and has regained her weight loss. I never expected to have to use Embrace this soon as her first few months as a puppy were illness-free. I am very thankful to have the financial security of Embrace insurance because even minor problems can become expensive with numerous trips to the vet.
