I'm so glad and very happy with Nationwide insurance. I do not need to make decisions regarding my dog's health for financial reasons only medical reasons. I wouldn't be without this insurance.

I have been delighted with Nationwide, and even with multiple pre-existing condition exclusions for one of my dogs, the amount of coverage, timely and easy reimbursement process (after setup), and multiple communication support options has been fabulous - we are now in year 2! While premiums are a little more expensive than some other companies, when you consider the coverage it is easy to see the value, Such peace of mind with Nationwide... simply priceless! I have had other pet insurance in the past and Healthy Paws is the best. The staffing is very helpful and caring when you call. Filing a claim is easy and reimbursement is fast. My Norwich Terrier was in the ICU for five days and I would not have been able to afford this and save my dog without Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. I would recommend Healthy Paws without hesitation.

My 22 month old cat got a UTI. She was, after diagnostics, diagnosed with cystitis which had caused inflimation. Instead of steroids the Dr. Prescribed a supplement to help. They sent back that i was missing the diagnosis. I had to call and explain the diagnosis is there and why we chose what we chose. They paid the 90% which was nice. But if there is a diagnosis maybe do research before sending it back declined.

Very fast claim processing received my payment by direct deposit in a couple day. Extremely pleased with the overall claim process.

Claims process went well. Easy to submit my docs. I called a few times for an update on my claims and everyone was really helpful and nice. The process to work my claims took almost the entire 30 days, which IS within their timeframe. However, I hoped they wouldn’t take the entire time.

You hope you never need it, and you are wondering if you are getting your money's worth, until something major happens and you are thankful you have it. Even though I was only reimbursed for half of the cost, it was such a relief. My young dog had an undiagnosed illness but I still received full reimbursement up to the policy limits.
