Will Renew Policy Again and Again
Bear came into contact with something unknown an had a severe allergic reaction. Rushed him to hospital an treatment required a 2 day stay. Need less to say I wasnt worried about a bill with Embrace. Vet filled out paper work. I simply faxed it in. With in 24 hrs there was a response that my claim was being taken care of.

Wonderful communication!
We just received our first reimbursement from Embrace. Our deductible is on the high side, so we don't generally meet it, but this year was an accident prone one for our little Sheltie puppy, Rocco. Nothing too serious, but little things that added up.
We also have another Sheltie, Dante, with a pre-existing condition. For both of our dogs, we submit paperwork simply for record-keeping. Each time we contact Embrace, we are met with kindness, professionalism, and respect. And, the best part is that they are great communicators! I love that I get emails just to tell me that they are working on our file and that we can expect an update soon. I always know where things stand with Embrace, and I highly recommend them.

Healthy Paws Truly Cares About Your Furry Friend
My older buddy, Barry developed a nasty ear infection that would not go away. It then lead to secondary issues in which he began to develop nerve paralysis on his left side (same side as his ear infection). He could no longer blink or close his left eye and it was affecting the use of his left hind leg as well where he could not support himself using that leg, nor walk properly or do the normal activities cats do. It came to be that for a good 2-3 months I was paying a visit to the vet every week. At every point Healthy Paws was quick to process the claims. I have been more than satisfied with the customer service from Healthy Paws! My experience has been thus far exceptional because they go above and beyond processing claims. Sending a note to check in on my furry buddy shows that Healthy Paws truly cares about their clients' pets' well being and affirms my choice to selecting Healthy Paws over other pet insurance. It was a personal note written by someone who have it some thought because they asked that I "give him a great big hug from us tonight!" When I responded I received a quick response back personalized the response I had sent. I tell all my fellow pet parents about how great Healthy Paws is. Keep up the awesome work!

Not up front on coverage & exclusions
I signed up for their 30-day free trial. The trial activation form says that this 30-day period is full coverage. IT IS NOT!!! It is limited coverage, which I found out after my puppy was diagnosed with a condition not covered. After 2 weeks, the company finally responded to say that I would have had to 'upgrade' the trial for the full coverage during the trial period. Their website does NOT say this. When I tried to upgrade, it wanted me to start paying immediately instead of at the end of the 30 day free period. Needless to say, I will be getting my insurance from another company. If Trupanion can't be upfront about everything, I don't want to do business with them

Prompt & Caring Service
I recently had to take my cat to the emergency clinic due to his consumption of a string, which I knew presented a risk to his intestines. The veterinarian attempted to induce vomiting but when that failed to work, I was offered the option of a endoscopy - a non-invasive way of removing the string. While the veterinarian indicated that it was possible the string would pass without incident, I didn't want to take any risk and opted for the procedure. It required my cat to be anesthetized and administered the requisite medication and bloodwork, amounting to a cost of over $1,000. Fortunately, the procedure was a success and the veterinarian was convinced after seeing the length of the string that it had been a good decision.
I processed my claim two days following the procedure. The form - pre-printed with all of the my cat's and the insurance information - was extremely simple to complete. All I had to do was scan it and the clinic receipt and medical record to pdf files and submit them via email. Before the day was through, I had confirmation that the information had been received and the claim was being processed. A short time after that, I received a follow-up email stating that my check would be mailed. The message included a description of the coverage, which was exactly in line with my own calculations. I received the check within a week. A few days later, Healthy Paws sent another message asking after my cat's health and seeking confirmation that everythin

saved our dog's life
Mere days after our insurance kicked in one of our dogs received a small gunshot wound to her abdomen. She needed to have surgery to remove and reattach her intestines as well as a blood transfusion. If we did not have Embrace we would not have been able to afford to save her life. The claims process was incredibly easy and the customer service representatives are so kind and considerate. I received multiple messages from Embrace employees checking on Lily after her procedure. We never did find out who was responsible for shooting her but we are so grateful for the excellent care she received and assistance Embrace provided us. We will never be without Embrace insurance as long as we have pets.

Waste of money
Again, paid all they could under a wellness claim stating I requested a snap test as part of her annual exam at an Emergency Clinic she was taken to on a Sunday afternoon for severve vomitting. The test was used as diagnostic. They offered to call the vet to verify I did not requested it as wellness, but then claimed the vet was out for a month. These people do everything they can to deny claims or pay them under wellness. Posted my frustration on FB, Laura's repsonse was I was saving $52 by pre-paying for my wellness policy....not if they pay emergency claims under wellness! Also had an attorney bash me on FB defending Embrace, though no fault of Embrace, not exactly good practice.
