Just purchased Embrace for a new to us rescue dog. Confused and unhappy from the get go. I should have taken the inability to enter my proper address as a sign. I had to use a city/zip code 45 miles away. So far nothing has been easy, or straight forward. No we don't need anything from you, yes we need complete records. Claim has been paid, claim is being denied. Which one is it. Much happier with our previous pet insurance provider we have for our other dogs. Just may switch this pup to it as well. They seem to do everything they can to make paying a claim difficult from confusing/contradicting emails to contacting my vet directly for information I had already provided. Also pay as much as they can under the wellness benefit claiming it is to maximize 100% reimbursement, in reality this only brings you to your annual wellness limit with claims that should be under illnesses. Very unhappy!

Embrace has been excellent in their coverage for my Cairn Isadora. She has some odd symptoms, slow heart rate and collapsing episodes, but no clear cause yet. Embrace has been wonderful paying for the tests that have been done to try to figure out what is wrong with her. Thank you!

When my Greyhound stole a corn cob and swallowed it whole we did think much of it. It's food, right? But, when she began vomiting a few times a day, every day I called the veterinarian. He said she should come in for a x-ray. There it was- clearly a corn cob sitting in her stomach, unable to be broken down. The vet said she was lucky it hadn't moved to her intestines! The vet was great. Removed the cob. Stitches were tight and clean. Hazel, our greyhound, healed beautifully with no complications. She never even licked at her stitches. I cannot be happier with Embrace. I paid the bill on a credit card, and was reimbursed before the bill even came due. The total bill was about $1,500. With remaining deductible and copay subtracted, I was reimbursed about $1,000 of that cost. Honestly, my husband and I discussed canceling our pet insurance shortly before this incident as we have three dogs and the total monthly cost seems high. Up to then we hadn't benefited from having the insurance. We decided not to cancel, and boy are we glad now. The next time the dogs veterinary care, I want to be sure I have pet insurance! I love my dogs, and having insurance helps make difficult decisions in their care easier.

Trupanion is an extremely reliable and pleasant pet insurance company. I started a policy for my dog on a "just in case" basis. I was thinking of insurance for a broken bone or something accidental. It turned out that my dog developed a lifelong pancreatic condition that needed a medication for the rest of his life. I was worried that the insurance might not cover that but was grateful to find out that Trupanion would cover the medication for the rest of his life. I have great appreciation for Trupanion. I'm not sure if I would have been able to afford the medication on my own.

We've been with embrace for over two years since we got our new puppy. They have been excellent to work with. They helped us build the right policy for our pup, and continue to be helpful every step of the way. Their response time is super fast and personalized. The claims process is faster than anything I've encountered with any other "insurance" on the market (health, car, etc.). I highly recommend Embrace to all our friends and family and I'm so thankful a friend of ours recommended Embrace to us.

I am very satisfied with all the help I've gotten with signing uo for insurance and the Wellness program. Very informative and pleasant people to deal with. Being a Purdue veterinary student and working as a receptionist at Paw Prints Animal Hospital has allowed me to see just how expensive pet emergencies/illnesses can be and how quickly they can occur. When I brought home my Dalmatian puppy (Ledger) almost two years ago, one of the first things I did was sign him up for Trupanion pet insurance. Thankfully, I made the right decision! Dalmatians produce high levels of uric acid and can be prone to bladder stones, so I knew turning to Trupanion was the right thing to do! He was indeed diagnosed with bladder stones this July and will now need an ultrasound of his bladder every 3 months to watch for future stone formation. If it weren't for Trupanion, I would have paid over $650 just to have the stones diagnosed and removed, and the future charges would have been waiting to add to the total cost. Thanks to Trupanion's fast claims service, 90% coverage, and rapid turnaround, I've already been reimbursed about $500 dollars! Ledger also has to eat a special diet (Hill’s U/D) to help prevent future stone formation, and Trupanion even covers approximately half of the food cost! I was able to set my own deductible, and the claims process is easy and fast! I highly recommend Trupanion to ANY pet owner. It not only has amazing benefits for puppies and kittens, but also older dogs and cats too! As a future veterinarian, I will recommend Trupanion to all of my clients!
