I Love Embrace
Finally a pet insurance company that is honest. I have two dogs and feel confident that they will be completely taken care of by Embrace. Previous insurance company (VPI), never followed through with their policy. They made it more difficult to get a claim. Embrace is easy, the customer service is great, and they do what they say will do!
Thank you Embrace Staff!

Great Coverage
I have had Pets Best insurance for at least 6 years. They have always been prompt and fair with their coverage. Recently I called to ask if a certain type of treatment was covered for my older dog's arthritis. The customer service rep did not have correct information so although he told me the treatment was covered by my policy, when I received my benefits report, it was not covered. I called and complained, explaining that I had been told that the treatment would be covered and therefore had undergone the treatment. The customer service supervisor reviewed the call log, realized I had been wrongly informed and agreed to cover the expense. I am very happy they chose to be honorable - I will continue to be a loyal customer!

Great Insurance!
Our yellow lab Elvis had a run of summer troubles recently - jarred his shoulder at the beach and developed a limp - poor baby, if it was up to him he would go run after the ball all day - no matter how it hurt! His vet took xrays, he had medicine, all sorts of costly experiences. We submitted his bill - and were so happy with quick and immediate payment. Then he had some summer hot spots - more medicine! We got an email from Healthy Paws and I thought - oh boy, they probably want to drop him! But no, they asked how he was and for a photo! They have been a great partner in keeping him healthy and happy.

Thank goodness for ASPCA Insurance!
We had another boxer and spent MANY $ on his health care. We had not heard of pet insurance at the time. With this dog we, fortunately, bought insurance when he was a puppy. We almost didn't, thinking what are the chances of getting TWO dogs with health issues. We have been very pleased with the company. One thing I would like to see is the inclusion of partial coverage for dog food that is prescribed by the vet that is needed to sustain the dog's health as it is VERY expensive.

Caring service, very fair
We were completely blindsided when our boxer Fritzy came down with bladder stones. By the time we understood what was happening he was very torn up inside with a perforated bladder. Embrace stayed on top of our multiple bills for all the diagnosic and surgical work that needed to be done. They kept in touch with us regarding the status of our claim, paid our claims quickly, and followed up with us to see how Fritzy was doing. Thank you Embrace

PetSecure lied to us. Don't waste your time.
In a previous job, I actually promoted PetSecure as a part of my position. I now sincerely regret that.
A week or two after we filed a claim for the first time, they sent us a letter claiming they had to raise our premiums due to "the new region of Canada we were in", but we had never moved.
It wasn't just an innocent error, either. We had made it known to them when we registered that my fiance and I lived separately, but shared custody of our dog. When they asked for my address on the claim form instead of his, they used that as a pretext to change our premiums-- and my address was in the very the same city, only 25 minutes away from his! The "region of Canada" excuse was clearly garbage.
When we called and straightened this out (in a very polite manner), they followed up by sending a letter informing us that our coverage no longer included six common health problems! Unbelievable.
Bottom line, we were penalized for making a claim the very first time we filed. We're going to be changing our insurance, not because we were underwritten, but because of the deceptive way in which they tried to make more money off of us first, under false pretenses.
Don't waste your time or money.

AWESOME COMPANY!!!
I have been a long time Embrace customer and unfortunately have had to use my policy on a number of occasions. From cancer with my goldens to my Dane Rex bloating, Embrace has never let me down. I just recently lost my 3 legged Dane "Hope" after a long hospital stay. Embrace covered everything as expected. Even covered the doctor who came to the house to to accupuncture. I have all 4 of my dogs covered by Embrace. They are the best!!!

Healthy Paws: Fast, Fair, and Pleasant
Our 8 month old German Shepherd Phoenix exhibited a limping in her left front leg. We took her to the vet where “pano” was indicated but while investigating that issue the vet discovered that the two lymph nodes on either side of her lower throat were greatly enlarged. Yikes!!!! He did a biopsy of one of the nodes along with extensive blood tests to try to find the cause. At this point we are not sure of the cause but have ruled out several of the more serious possibilities.
The total vet bill so far is $1068.08. I submitted documentation for the claim by email on Monday 9/10. That same day, Healthy Paws went to work on the claim, asking for some additional vet notes directly from the vet. The vet supplied the notes on Tuesday 9/11 at which time I got an email from Healthy Paws indicating that the information was complete and the claim was being processed. On Thursday 9/13 I received notification from Healthy Paws that the claim had been processed in an email which included the explanation of benefits. Notice that the claim was already processed on day 4.
So they are fast, but did they pay what the policy said would be paid? Yes, to the penny. My policy has an annual $250 deductible with 90% coverage. NOT covered is the exam fee of $36.50 (as stated in the policy), and so the calculation went as .9*(1068.08 – 36.50) – 250 = $678.42.
So they are fast, pay what they are supposed to pay, but are they pleasant to work with? Yes, definitely pleasant. I have communicate

Healthy Paws ...... Superb Service
After reviewing other pet insurance companies,we decided on Healthy Paws for our Saint Bernard.Even over what our vet recommended. What a great choice we made.simply the BEST.
On 09/04/2012 we took our Saint to the vet for an injured wrist and a diarrhea problem. Within an hour of getting home from the vet's we received a e-mail from Healthy Paws saying they had received our claim.2 hours later, another e-mail from Healthy Paws saying the claim was approved.Within 3 days we received the check for our claim.
